Looks extremely creative, love the multiple levels, close quarters, with killzones, and the art style is rather cool. Looking forward to see how it plays out in the final game. This footage is obviously EXTREMELY early and running on an dev engine environment editor, but looking cool.
Their flare for tactical map layout is evident in the video as well! Pure awesome!
Now someone needs to do a full de-composition of the level and post it to youtube! :)
Looks like H-Hour is about to get fully funded as well:
Video embedded properly and updated post.
Good overview, H-Hour is almost funded, can't wait to see the final funding announcement today!
The vision of the game is amazing, but falls down on poor execution. The guns are broken (horrible range), animation is poor, strafing is severely broken, movement speed is like wading through 10 ft of shit, overall the movement feel is horrendous. The maps have very little design purpose. Basically they need to improve the feel of the game to match it's depth...
Love the economy, rpg system, clan support / matches, owning territory (PC), and overall social integration &a...
They are considering an XboxOne version. But have no current plans for it.
Nope its on a better trajectory than Takedown to get funded, but should the kickstarter fail, they are still seeking VC $$ and I am ready to hop in with whatever difference is necessary.
It is on ps4.
PS4 & PC only for now. They said they may investigate other platforms in the future.
Also note MAG & SOCOM while sharing the same dev team- are two entirely different games. SOCOM is tactical, MAG is getting boots in the right place... both games have a reason to exist and offer distinctly different experiences.
I did love mag, and Mag 2 in all honesty is Dust 514, but lacking in map design. Lots of Zipper devs that worked on Mag went to CCP. IMO support dust if you want MAG, hell its free, at least try it.
Dust currently has some fundamental shooting issues, that will be fixed over the coming months. So give it time. I've been playing Mag 2, ahem... Dust 514 for over a year (in close beta) and I love it, but don't like where the core shooting & movement has gone. Join th...

Good overview of certainly some games that were overlooked during the E3 blitz.
SOCOM II and now H-hour, the TRUE SOCOM will make waves in the gaming industry. No doubt will take a big bite out of COD & BF, finally giving hardcore shooter fans a platform to play competitively. Thank God! for H-Hour, it renews my faith in gaming as a whole.
First video got posted here on N4G (pend approval- couple more votes):
