It is still about 1yr away, this is VERY early, and certainly not disappointing. It looks exactly like the camera perspective and art style any true SOCOM fan would desire!

It is SII HD, look at it! lol... That said, sure it'll expand beyond the horizon of the old SOCOMs. However, it's is indeed the spiritual successor to SOCOM and shares a lot of the same devs & artists- now free from their Sony over-lord and free from Sony trying to chase COD...

Yeah Sony doesn't have that "one" game, they have about 5 blockbuster titles that define Sony and are in Tier 0. Anything Naughty Dog releases, GT, Infamous, Killzone, etc... No one can argue that if you want the highest quantity of the HIGHEST QUALITY releases you have to go with Sony 1st party studios.
