Sounds like a lie to me: Dungeon Defenders 2 & 7days to Die are early access & launched on PS4 as alpha, both are critically buggy (game file failures, save failures, etc.). No reason for them not to launch. DD2 even does biweekly updates, so patching frequently isn't an issue either.

Sony does have an early access, let's see: warthunder, dungeon defenders 2, about 6 others that I've seen. These Dev's want a subsidy or they would simply publish the game on the PSN store. There is very little Sony review / requirements to publish things on PSN.
Unnoticeable in the output anyway... much ado about nothing. lowest drop was about 45fps- one. Most dips were 50+ fps. Looks amazing to me.

Drivers & in-game mapping support, if the games believe it's a generic PC controller, then I don't need to spend 2hrs setting up my PS4 controller, then adapting it for every game- ugh.
