The same way Sony did everything possible to get back on track after the dismal launch and overall performance of the PS3, I have no doubt in my mind that MS will do what they must to win over any of their naysayers.
It was the most amazing thing. My mom didn't really have the money to get it for me and when I won, I didn't even have a clue that there was a contest going on. The packaged goodie in the cereal at the time was this fake, paper thin wallet with "Crunch Money" inside. When I opened it and looked at the bills, I see one that had the Cap'n and all his pals in front of a TV playing Space Invaders and the words 'YOU ARE AN INSTANT WINNER!' written across the top. I sc...
Probably about 8 or 9. Maybe even 10?
I had that game and it was HORRENDOUS. One of the first examples in gaming of slapping a known brand on a turd and hoping it would sell on the strength of it.
On a somewhat related note, I won my Atari 2600 from Cap'n Crunch. Scout's honor.
The funny thing is how you have these people on here talking about how MS promised all this stuff with the cloud and failed to deliver, yet the system has barely been out for a month with few games actually taking advantage of the cloud technology.
Well said. The only gripe I have with the game is with the controls in situations that require a little finesse. Other than that, this game is a load of fun.
Ridiculous to even attempt to compare these two games. Dead Rising 3 looks nice but it was never about the graphics with that series, it was always about the number of zombies onscreen. And quite frankly, it never ceases to amaze me when I see my entire screen literally covered with a ridiculous amount of zombies. The Last of Us doesn't have dozens of characters onscreen, so they can afford to focus on the visuals. TLoU is a gorgeous game but attempting to compare the two is simply useles...
I'd rather wait until MGS V and this get bundled into one neat, cheaper package.
I have a feeling that what we're going to be seeing with this game and the TV show will set the stage for the next Halo game and the Spielberg produced TV show. I think there's going to be some kind of connection between those two as well, maybe more than they've let on so far.
There are definitely issues with the XB1 online component currently. I couldn't even get a multiplayer match in on Peggle 2 yesterday for Christ's sake.
Really interesting news. Don't have the PS4 as of yet but I do have the Xbox 360, XB1 and PS3 on deck with the PS3 being my go to Blu Ray player. I actually prefer it's Blu Ray capabilities to the XB1's.
I'll be getting this but not for the $60 retail price. Included DLC or not, this should have been $40. But if the pricing of the original release is any indication, it'll go down to that price really soon.
He has to run the Kinect setup again and probably raise the volume on his receiver or TV up higher than usual to make sure it reads him right.
The system isn't without its problems but they're nothing damning. All the issues can be fixed with patches and they'll be adding and removing things in the upcoming months and sharpening the system up.
I'll be there day one on this. This looks and sounds like it's gonna be fun.
I'd love to know how many people have bought a PS4 with no intention of gaming online with it, solely to use it to play Netflix.
Here's a better question:
If the PS4 is SO much better than the Xbox One, why this need to write this long, drawn out comment to prove this "indisputable" fact? It all comes down to the purchaser and their own individual tastes. There's no right or wrong answer here. Both machines cater to different crowds. And what's all this about the XB1 titles not breaking records? What does that even matter? Does Knack outselling Mario make it a better game?
If Major Nelson or one of those high ranking MS guys did the same, it wouldn't be received so well and that's what annoys me. But whatever, it's not news that affects me personally. I just think a lot of people on here can't see past the tips of their own noses.
I've already lost enough bubbles by stating the obvious. Would like to get one or two more before resuming to do so.
This explains a lot.
