The XB1 controller is fantastic and after you've used it for awhile and then go back to playing with the 360 controller, you realize just how good it is.
It's a spiffed up rehash. Send a message by not buying it and waiting for it to come down in price. At $60, they're trying to gouge us all in the hopes of making up some of the cash that they thought they were gonna get from the initial release last gen. If that original release is any indication, the price is gonna plummet within a month or two.
Too bad for them, I use my XB1 practically every day.
TLoU has the better story by far but as a complete package, you have to give the win to GTA V.
Signed up for the beta, so I'm hoping to get some hands on time with it. My main turnoff to it at this point is the monthly subscription fee.
You wouldn't think so the way people were hyping it up on these boards. That series has always been about graphics first and gameplay second, which makes me scratch my head as to why people were so hyped for it upon its release.
It's a lot more responsive than the original Kinect for one. I think that being that there's a Kinect with every XB1, the possibility that new and innovative uses for it will arise due to the increased output. The tech is there, it's really just up to the devs to get creative with it.
I don't care who sells more because I'll have the PS4 sitting next to the XB1 later this year, granting me a wide range of games to choose from. Right now, I'm enjoying my XB1 and looking forward to this year's releases.
There are not enough games currently to damn Kinect 2.0 as a failure in regards to its performance. By this time next year, I think we'll be able to get a better idea on whether or not the Kinect makes all the difference. I'm finding it to be a pretty great addition to the system personally and I'm looking forward to seeing how they implement it further down the road.
You do know that they have other divisions right? Sony isn't all about games. They've lost a ton of cash on their TV division alone as well as their movie production arm.
Simple. They're still trying to get money from this game, which performed under expectations even though it was a critical hit and sold well enough. This game needed to be priced at $40. Had it been, I guarantee it would sell really well.
That's exactly what it has become. Back in the day, companies used to pride themselves in how much content they could stuff into one game. Now that they know people are willing to pay for "extra" content, why pass up on that cash? It's a sad truth but it's exactly what it is.
I'll be honest, I get where you're coming from but this bug is annoying enough that it warrants attention. Really hoping Google and YouTube get off their asses and update the app to correct it because it's annoying as hell and isn't a quick process to revert back to your own profile.
I thought this was a what to play on PS4 article, not what to play on PS3...?
Yup, I'm 39 and was onboard with the series since the first game. Can't say I've played every single one (didn't play RE6 or ORC) but it's a series I've always appreciated.
I dodged ten bullets this year. Eat your heart out, Neo!
Wow. Talk about bad timing.
I recently got a projector and playing Dead Nation on a big ass 100"+ screen really makes all the difference. You can actually see the detail on the dude's clothes. One of the best zombie games ever. A four player version of this would rock.
(I was playing on a 37" screen before so you can imagine why I'd be so excited)
Somebody give this man a bubble. He has sense. Unlike this article.
@pockyking I'm not saying I'm being forced to buy it but c'mon now... streeting this title at a full $60 is nonsense. If they had put this out at a $40 price point, the game would literally fly off of the shelves. I'll be getting it when it drops in price and not a moment sooner. And also, if you don't believe that they're trying to recoup their losses by selling the game at a premium price, then I probably won't be able to convince you of the fact.
