I have said it before but PlayStation really needs to partner with Twitch and Amazon. Microsoft has done nothing but put itself as rivals to Amazon and PlayStation.
I don't know why they are choosing to work with Microsoft on their cloud gaming if that's still even going to be a thing after how little talk there seems to be about streaming after Stadia bombed.

Well I can do it too, it's a shame Microsoft had to start the trend of buying studios instead of just licensing games so studios could continue making games for all platforms as they get paid to work for them instead of this outcome where studios are now locked into one company sink or swim.

When it comes to Zune Microsoft kept throwing more and more money at it well past the point where it was obvious that the Ipod had won the battle for MP3 players. Also like Nokia when Microsoft bought Nokia it was obvious that Windows Phone was dead but they spent 7.3 billion on Nokia anyways because they couldn't admit Windows Phone was a failed project.

After the X came out PlayStations monthly market share actually increased. The X didn't even win it's launch month on NPD in it's strongest market. Being more powerful didn't increase sales.
The writing isn't on the wall about PS5's price, it's easily the cheaper to manufacture of the two consoles. The press which leans Microsoft is the only reason that people think PS5 is going to be expensive and SX is going to be cheap.

That's because you don't understand game development. Obviously graphics really aren't going to change that much, that's why TF isn't that important. Where as with the SSD you already see R&C game development has been changed. We are at the start of the generation, so we haven't gotten to see all the advancements. Graphics are things you can see game development like the advancments from faster CPU's and SSD will be more subtle but there will absolutely be ...
I think PS5 is going to come in under the price people seem to expect. Everything about the design tells me that cost was a big part of the hardware decisions.

Kings Field was great for the time, but really the gameplay doesn't hold up. Demon's Souls on the other hand is more or less a modern game that translates well to being remade. A Kings Field game by the time they made it something modern gamers would accept wouldn't even be King's Field anymore.
If you think it's a bad idea then it must be a good idea.
