Did you not notice that this entire article is about sales?
Maybe you should inject a little less bleach today.
The comment is a reply to Tim Sweeny who was specifically talking about the PS5 SSD.
Just like how you conveniently ignore that the SSD provides data for more than just the GPU?
Again the SSD doesn't supply data to the GPU it supplies data to the RAM. Both the CPU and GPU read data from the RAM.
No, they are specifically talking about the PS5's SSD architecture and explaining why it's superior.
Well, we know that the SSD in the PlayStation is more than twice as fast.
Perhaps the delusion is pretending that doesn't matter?

As I said above, the GPU doesn't read data from the SSD it reads data from the RAM. The SSD supplies the data for the RAM and both the CPU and the GPU process the data from the RAM.
The faster you can fill RAM the faster the CPU and GPU can process them.
The GPU reads data from RAM which is where the SSD puts the data. The SSD doesn't load information into the GPU it loads information into the RAM.
And I feel like I should point out that consoles use a shared pool of memory so both the CPU and the GPU read from the RAM so there is zero disadvantage to being able to fill RAM as fast as you can.
Well when people start glorifying Viking farming and fishing techniques and not murder and terrorism then get back to me.

Inject some bleach while your at it.

I agree Microsoft should get out of gaming.
Hmm good example, Sony VIAO was discontinued.
Yea, the way Vikings get treated never makes much sense to me. They were of course the old world terrorists, basically all they did was raid mostly unarmed villages and kill, rape and steal from people. Very little about them was heroic in any sense on the word.
At least Sony is doing their demos on dev kits unlike Microsoft showing you demos played on high power PC's.
And if you think 15% is going to be some huge graphical leap over PlayStation you're going to be in for a rude surprise.
Users, not paid subscriptions.
Why do Xbox people keep trying to confuse the issue? It's not about third party cross gen or remasters it's about Microsoft saying that all it's first party games were going to be cross gen. Presumably because they are prioritizing gamepass subscriptions over games.

Obviously not considering that would be 20 million more subscribers than they sold consoles.
You know it's a bad decision when the only people excited about it are the Xbox folks.
Note the word "users". That's different from "paid subscriptions".
Yes, certainly the success of Lawbreakers proves he is a good fit for Xbox.
