Sorry but I disagree. My feeling is that if you're in a game then you're in until the end, otherwise don't play. If you were fighting a real war, you wouldn't just quit because the odds were stacked against you, you would try harder. Who knows, you might win. Quitters are a huge annoyance of online gaming, so I welcome anything that deters people from doing it.

Well said. Why bother making Halo or Gears for Kinect when they are perfectly fine with a controller. It's for experiences that don't work very well with a controller, like fitness, dance, sports etc. But also it gives developers opportunities to create new experiences we haven't seen before.
I'm still sceptical about Kinect, but I'm willing to keep an open mind, unlike many people on this site.
Isn't the more important feature of the article that you CAN sit down while using Kinect? Of course not, it's always the negative stuff that gets the headlines.

Though the likes of Halo, Gears of War, Fable are on the PC, they are widely acknowledged as Xbox franchises. Also, Xbox and Windows are both Microsoft platforms, just like PS3 and PSP are Sony platforms. If a game comes out on PS3 and PSP, people would still acknowledge it as a PS3 exclusive, even if it technically isn't.
Sorry mate but not only is the collision physics in that video unrealistic, the damage is way too minor for a crash at those speeds. Forza 3 does better damage than that.

People seem to be misinterpreting his words. He's merely emphasising the fact that Reach will be a massive game with lots of content.
Some people are acting like Uncharted 2 is the greatest game of all time or something. Yeah it's a great game and certain deserves its acclaim, but it was kind of another flash in the pan in terms of this generation of games.
There's a greater improvement between Mass Effect 1 and 2 than there was between Uncharted 1 and 2.
