I doubt any Westerner is going to be playing the game and say to themselves "die American/UK infidel, Allah commands it!". It's like when I play as the Russians or nazi's in any other game - i'm just the opposing team. I'm don't feel like I'm killing the good guys, I'm killing other players.
I have a xbox slim and ps3 phat and think ps3 is a better system (in terms of value for your money) except for it's controller in which 360 kicks ass (except for SF4). Live is a bit better but not in terms of lag and connecting - so playing online mp is identical a for both - just in terms of messaging and cross chat.

Most screenshots of PS3 exclusives don't do the games justice you have to see them moving to be amazed due to all the post processing effects.
All I know is that gamers win when great new IPs are made and fail to have truely novel gaming experiences when sequels are rehashed indefinitely.
Nothing matches the excitement of entering into a brand new game world although sequels on new hardware can.
The only people who will like this game are kids 3-8 and pedos who convince the kids it's more fun to pet a man than a virtual tiger.
I think this gen it will be pretty much a tie between 360 and PS3, but next gen PS4 will dominate - 360 has lost all of it's advantages except Halo which won't even be made by Bungie.
Kinect needs a navigation controller, then maybe it could work with traditional games.
I'd like to know the dev cost for each the PS3, PC and 360 versions. In fact it would interesting to know from companies that can make equal or superior PS3 versions of games (like EA) how much more it cost, if at all, to make an equal PS3 version. Is it 2 million or more like 200000?
Move support could be awesome, kind of like Scorcery but way better. I don't care about 3D and neither would 99% of PS3 owners.

There goes 360s best exclusive by far IMO. I already bought it on 360 but it would have been nice to not have to change disks. It was dumb that you needed to switch disks even though I had them both installed. Enjoy one of the best games this gen PS3 only owners.
I hope it's at 720p, last game was so blurry it looked 540p during the daytime and a bit sharper at night.
Makes sense that casual gamers would be casual purchasers - probably 1-2 games a year.
720p is HD, it may be the minimum resolution for HD but it's HD nonetheless. HD TV broadcasts in 720p. Just because a resolution is higher doesn't make a lower one not HD. Would 2160p make 1080p sub-HD.
Maybe 1% of gamers will be equipt to enjoy the 3D effect, it would have been better to spend the time and resources fine tuning the game or making more MP maps.
It's a videogame and it's called freedom of expression. EA should be able to make a game based entirely on a Taliban terrorist protagonist (oxymoron) if they so choose just like a book or movie is allowed to create something that demonstrates the Taliban's point of view. It's up to us to not support it if we find it offensive. Myopic arbitrary censorship and suppression of creative freedoms is more akin to Taliban practices than American.
