Bungie is also making a new shooter for next-gen and Valve might reclaim the crown with Half-Life 3 so who knows....but BF sees like the future of FPS MP imo.
So few games will use Vita as a controller that it won't matter.
Sony is full of great ideas....but executes too many of them poorly (Move, Home, web browser, etc.)
UE4 better emphasize destruction and physics or I hope it fails.

I only played the demo but I thought from shooting mechanics alone, the game isn't more than a 6/10.

Companies should learn from CD Projekt and respect the consumer (giving the enhanced edition away for free to people who supported them by already buying the game).
I'm sick of day 1 DLC BS. I'm not paying full price anymore, I can wait. I buy 10-14 games a year at full price but now I'm fed up so I can wait until prices drop 50%.

MS innovated a lot with online play/services and incidental but important things like achievements.
They deserve to be where they are right now (tied with Sony) but they've been going downhill since 2008 and will probably ruin all the gains they've made this gen.
They've literally abandoned the core for the Nintendo's market...which makes sense IF they can hold on to the core (which overall is the bigger market)....

Playstation 3 sells more than 360 annually so I can't see Sony being the first to fall. If anything, MS is in the most tenuous position going into next-gen.
Exclusives matter a lot at launch as most 3rd parties aren't willing to release big budget games on consoles with very low user bases in the first year.
