I wouldn't mind a console that was more like a PC.
You get the console benefit of everyone having the same hardware so you know your game will work perfectly every time and that they will be optimized for the console but also K & M support, steam, proper browser, etc.
Good luck getting MS to open up though, they're like nazi's with controlling the 360, I'm not even sure if they consider me the console owner or that I just have a lease.
I'm sure they will next-gen.
Sorry, this comparison is like like comparing which ugly girl looks better, I love MGS3 (and MGS in general) but the game's graphics aren't why I play it because it's probably close to 10 years old soon. For a remake this isn't impressive and for a remaster it's decent but not game changing.

As a PS3/360 owner I no longer blame the devs for the bad PS3 ports, too many companies have problems with PS3 hardware for it not to be Sony's fault.
To all the people complaining and blaming the devs, maybe devs should just stop making PS3 versions if they're going to look/run worse without spending extra time and money right. Would that stop your complaining?

Nope, this time I blame Sony for this. Oblivion has no trophies so how can it be re-released.
Sony was so behind the times at the beginning of the gen (which is probably why MS beat them even though RROD and pay-to-play online which is like the biggest FU in consumer electronic history).
Skyrim and this are Sony's fault, bad hardware design and late to game with trophies.

I felt I got burned on Street Fighter IV with all of the frequent releases so I'm done with it.

My only problem with Mass Effect 3 is whether I should get it on 360 or PS3.
I much prefer the fat to the slim. The slim is actually a fairly unattractive console (and not that slim either). I hope sony does another redesign soon.

I bought the PS3 version because it looked better than the 360 version. Now to have the PS3 version control as well I have to make it look worse!?
If it's not HD it would defeat the whole streaming games onto it thing, who wants to play standard def games.
I can agree with the article, game stories are mostly bad. They never develop the villains, allies or world. The player needs to grow with them throughout the story to feel attachment betrayal, etc.
