I love how much gaming sites can do with one vid doc. I swear these people are industrious, give them one vid doc and they can make 10 different articles.
I'd prefer next-gen at 720p and 60 fps, than 1080p and 30 fps.
Try playing any modern game with 3 continues and limited lives, you'll never pass it. Games are harder, it's just that you have unlimited lives.

It could work if developers treat it like a console and optimize games for it, otherwise it will have all the same problems as PC and none of the console benefits.

Whether or not you still (or ever) liked the COD series, COD4 had some great ideas, that devs have implemented in their games to varying extents but that's not "trying" to be like COD.

Reading all the negative comments from people who hate whatever is popular just reminds me of how happy I am that the N4G community almost never represents the opinion of the larger gaming community.
I hope they copy good ideas, the reproduction/building off of good ideas into new work is called progress and improvement. COD4 had a lot of great gameplay ideas, which has resulted in improved FPS games. The problem is when people try and make the same game.

I find it funny that Brits are so put off by the fact that the villains are English. Sorry mates, but during the American Revolution Brits were the enemy, deal with it. If it's any consolation, the protagonist is half-british.
No one complains when you're killing italians, middle easterners, russians, etc. in games but the second you start killing English men they get all offended and say the game won't sell.

I actually feel like I get a lot more hours out of my games this gen compared to last gen due to MP.
It's safe to assume that all Kinect games aren't for the core audience - Kinect doesn't work well enough to control a core game.
