I never skip cut scenes, I love them on the first playthrough but I like to know the story.
It's true that devs get lazy at the end, they just seem to spike up the difficulty and throw endless enemies at you which get really boring. They should make the last level the most epic not simply the most difficult.
Know how I know Kinect will sell millions? Every time there's an article released on N4G people are very interested....doesn't mean it's any good though or that people will like it a month after purchase.
Since 360 Slim came out, the 360 has been beating all the consoles and widening the gap again. I got to hand it to MS, Sony is not going to outsell them this gen. I have both PS3 and 360 and think if you had to choose one, the PS3 would definitely be the better buy but clearly marketing goes a long way.
I'm sure a few million of the lead is replacement consoles but most games sell more on 360 as well. That being said, I think next gen MS has virtually nothing game-wi...
It most definitely will outsell Move; you can't beat MS marketing mu$cle. But Move is still a better motion controller for playing games.
If MS made Move and Sony made Kinect no one would buy Kinect and Move would sell millions. In fact people would say Kinect was total crap if Sony made it b/c Sony wouldn't tell people what they want with the one of the biggest marketing pushes since the release of 360.
For the price of Kinect and the workout game you could buy her a lengthy gym membership and she'd actually get real exercise with proper equipment.
Or equally good and for the same price you could buy her the whole P90 set with chin-up bar but then she may look manly.
MS marketing is a major reason why 360 is on top sales-wise this gen.
I can't wait until games look like that!
Yeah, and like a fever it will break (interest) for the people who buy it after a week of stand-crouch-jump-flay arms
Better be something Half Life or Valve is dead to me - the only Valve game I bought this entire gen has been Orange Box on 360. L4D isn't a AAA game to me and not worth the money on consoles.
They need to use HDMI not component.
I'm sure everything else going wrong for him in his life had nothing to do with it and he didn't have a pre-existing metal problem. It was definitely the PS3's fault.
PS3's don't kill people, people kill people.
Kotaku should quit being pussies and use numbers or some form of scale - it's a cop out from facing criticism from gamers who may have a contrary view or disagree. Other sites are brave enough to get derided by gamers but Kotaku just plays it safe by talking a lot about what they like and didn't like but saying nothing substantive at all. We all give games (at least in are head) some form of score.
Killzone 2 feels like your actually in a war more so than any other FPS game except BFBC2 that I've played but not obviously not a contemporary war. Maybe it because of the graphical effects (a lot of smoke, debris, partial-destructable environments) and 32 players.
It looks good, but I expected more from the PC version.
I will be renting whichever console version Blockbuster has in stock.
That stunt should be worth a 50 GP achievement not 10 grand.
It's my GOTY so far, and I own all the big titles.
US feature so who gives a ship. And I've learned from netflix which recently came to Canada on PS3 that the digital age/download age is a long way off unless Cable companies raise the bandwith caps, which they won't because that will ruin there cable TV business. I owe 10 bucks extra from that dam "free" month of netlfix already. I shouldn't even be on the internet right now...
Is that so Rare, which games?
limewax is right, what is MS working on for next year besides Gears 3? All the R&D and marketing money MS has put into Kinect and it "games" has certainly deprived 360 owners of quality new IP's as there are none known of. MS didn't announce anything core related at E3 except for Gears.
I bought my 360 in 2007 because it had the best exclusives in the pipe line (Gears, ME, Halo, Fable, Lost Odyssey). Gears is cool, Halo gameplay has gotten stale, Fa...
