Personally, I thought the CG trailer did look interesting. It really set of the setting and mood of the game. It looks like a really wicked good sci fi god of war game which I am all about getting. I could care less that this is going multiplat...as long as they don't end up raping the game like they did Rage (just so the 360 could get it to)!
Now maybe I can sell my old 60gb for a premium and buy a slim (if there is full ps2 emulation that is...)!!!
So is there a reason that SONY won't be getting Netlix foreplay? I mean, if this Wii thing is true, there is obviously no exclusive rights with the 360 for console netflix streaming? I'm not gonna lie...Netflix on the PS3 is something I would buy.

The thing is, people have been saying this because they KNOW it's going to happen. SONY always cuts the prices on their flagship consoles and/or introduces a slim, usually one begetting the other. It's going to happen, you don't really need to see it to know its going to come true!
Epic fail on your comments. Everybody knows that a company sells consoles at a loss to recoup in the games department. MS was in the red for the 360 until recently and if what we are led to believe is true, SONY will start getting a profit from every ps3 sold by Christmas. Compiled with the fact that MS has to deal with all of the errors and RRoDs and lawsuits that have been filed against them and the playing field starts evening out.

I really don't even care about this game anymore. I lost complete interest when they had to retard the game down to the 360 level in order to get it to fit, thus subsequently cutting the quality of the PS3 as well. Now they are saying that it runs faster on the 360 version after they slowed it down in order to fit it on the 360. This generation of games is becoming one big joke. I heard that the ending of the third one was a cop out...I've played the old snes and psx star ocean games, but not the ps2 one. If I get this, would I be missing a lot, or are the stories not arching?

I like how people complain about installation times and sizes and yet its only mostly 3rd party games that resort to this. If I remember correctly, Killzone 2 (the graphical behemoth that it is) along with the 1st Uncharted and several other PS3 exclusives DO NOT require an install to play. I'm not saying they all don't (MGS4 anyone) but it proves that it can be done even with groundbreaking games and graphics!
There is something very wrong with this generation and the kids that play said games. It seems that as long as a title sells well, people will talk about how great the game is.
Then, when asked why it is such a great game, they will give sales numbers like it is the only indicator of how truly great said game is.
