Nothing but pretty graphics as far as I can tell. Though if you have never tried Metal Gear it's totally different from Splinter Cell and you might like it. If you have no friends with a PS3 to try out this game, as I do, try finding a Gamestop/Walmart/Target/? with a PS3 on display and ask to try it.
A niche game that many gamers care nothing about, and most casuals care nothing about. I still don't expect to enjoy it any more than the previous Metal Gear titles in the series. I have only been surprised once in gaming and that was with Halo:C.E.. I hated FPSs before that. Unless MGS4 is completly different from the previous titles, I don't care how good it looks, it will suck. Just another point of view.

with a percentage in them are made up on the spot. Any numbers you may have seen regarding Wii demographics is an estimate just like VGchartz, NPD, or any other you can think of. Also being paid to track this stuff doesn't mean they are more accurate, it means they try harder because it can be held against them monetarily.
We are talking about an EA port here. I suspect they will have their hands full trying to get the game to run equal to the 360 version.

the PS2 is the weakest console of last gen. It also saddens me that the PS3 is hampering developers with its stupid architecture that only devs with huge budgets and unusually long dev cycles can take advantage of all that supposed power. Metal Gear and GT5 make my point for me. I can see you are very sad.

A good percentage of market share is what they have lost. I will be surprised if Sony sells more PS3s than Microsoft does 360s. I'm not often surprised.
