That is why there is no option for Mouse and keyboard. Someone send me a message when someone comes up with a keys and mouse setup that can be used on the couch and lying down, and a 40" monitor for under $1500 and only $300 for the computer itself. PC gaming won't die, but it will have fewer supporters than consoles and will have more of a niche appeal than it has currently.
So yes, he JUST figured this out. Reading about things on the internet is different than experiencing them first hand.
His whole point is how effortless and cohesive 360 and LIVE are compared to the pain in the ass that is PC gaming. Can you even get a 42" monitor? How much does one cost? Can you lay down and play with keys and mouse? Can you hit one button to download and play demos?
A couple of you above did not read/comprehend the article. Read and understand the piece you are commenting on, or you will look foolish.
You statement is a prime example of one of the reasons the PS3 has sold so well till now. You are living in past Playstation glory. PS3 is NOT the BEST choice for GAMING THIS generation!
Even non-gamers who have no desire to learn which button to push to make their character jump, squat, open the door, etcetera. I believe that is why Wii owners are less likely to have another console.
that as long as you bring the games people want to play, they will put up with sub-par hardware. It worked for Sony and is now working for Microsoft. I can't understand why this is so hard to comprehend.
Because someone with a full brain would realise that the problems with the 360 have less of an effect on the consumer with the 3 year warranty in place. When my 360 RRoDed, my first thought was this sucks but, at least I don't have to buy a new one like I did with 2 PS2's that DREed on me, so who cares? It is inconvienent, it should not have happened, but it effects me very little so again who cares? Scared Sony fanboys, that's who.
An Xbox 360 is not food, transportation, a source of vital news, it is nothing more than an entertainment device. Russian roulette? Give me a break. We who so choose, put up with the hardware problems to play the most games(fact), and the best games(majority opinion including my own). Same with the PS2 last generation without a 3 year extended warranty, so what is your problem? Sony fanboys living in past Playstation glory, yet not acknowledging what happened in the past.
I applaud Microsoft for how they handled the situation. In comparison to another console manufacturer, Microsoft are "like" saints from my point of view. 3 year warranty people. To those who whine about their 360 not getting RRoD, ever heard of the towel trick? Apparently not.
Only because you have to wait to play it on PS3. Continue to wait, what else can you do?
No voice chat, no friends list, no demos, videos, movies, nothing but gaming and patches. Call it the Freeloader Zone. As cheap as I am I'd still pay for Live with all the functionality, but some people would love the idea.
I could buy 4 or 5 360s or more, and games for what you paid for a PC to run games at better quality than a 360. Saving a few bucks on games doesn't offset that much. Plus Microsoft gets royalties from PC games and OS sales. Which has to just kill you fanboys. You fail!
Third parties cannot afford to waste time and money learning Sonys stupid arcitcture. Sony on the other hand seems to think they have nothing but time and money. Silly fanboys!
Indicate this power is theoretical and may never be tapped either because it doesn't exist or is to costly to utilize. Who you gonna believe? Oh, right N4G.
we know better than to give in to our animal instincts and can make that choice. Just because someone is attracted to the same sex or an animal for that matter, does not mean they must act upon it. That is one thing that is supposed to seperate us from the animals. @ fish 8.2 No, but having sex with the same sex stricly for pleasure proves daftness and/or lack of control.
Are there any numbers that show the percentage of Amazon sales compared to overall game sales? I would imagine it to be fairly small. I suppose I could try Google. Nah.
Give that man a cookie. He doesn't need anymore bubbles.
The question is... Is it worth the money AND hassle AND smaller screen sizes AND uncomfortable playing position? To me, no.
