Some people won't even download it, of those that do, some won't use it regularly, if at all. How can Home help with community interaction if your community is split with Home and non-Home users? From that video, it takes too long to do anything in Home for it to be user friendly enough to be worthwhile to use after a short time. I can see a lot of people getting bored quickly and not using it.
I still see it as more than half the price with less than half the game. That is not a good value, but an apparent attempt to milk some money out of an unfinished product. Though it has worked in the past so that makes it ok I guess.
they are not shooters, but wierd little niche games, the type that made the PS2 so popular with so many different types of gamers.
You supported Sony for releasing faulty hardware(PS2). So what is the difference? A faulty PS2 brought you the PS3 and a faulty 360 will bring the next Xbox. No difference.
If not, you can just take it back, right? Oh no you can't, can you? You have to figure it out all by yourself. Then hope that whatever part that went bad is still under warranty. Or any number of other problems you might have while building, then operating your own PC. In the long run, for most people, it's just not worth the hassle or the risk.
I've not heard a single 3rd party dev say PS3 is favored for anything. In fact it's been just the opposite. It's more like they are forced once again to cater to Sony's arrogance and stupidity and forced to learn new programming techniques that are useless in the real world outside the Sony universe. I'm sure they don't favor having to spend more time and money to get the same result, but they have no choice because people bought the PS3 with a high price and virtually no games either on bran...

Sony did nothing about it. No extended warranty. Nothing. People continued to buy replacements until they got one that worked. Out of their own pockets. These same people are now bashing Microsoft for fixing the 360's problem for FREE for 3 years. While at the same time praising Sony for the PS3 that was paid for by the ripoff of the PS2 purchasers. Where is the logic in that.

Microsoft with Live it takes six button presses to mute any player in any game,and Bungie with Halo3 and it's three button presses, made it so simple to mute morons, that if you can't figure out how to do it, your one of the morons.
Both COD4 and Halo3 feel like old games with a new coat of paint and some new features. Which I believe may be exactly what they were going for, which is fine for some. I can't stop playing Shadowrun and have noticed a lot more players of late. Some who never played and some who sold it to get Halo3 or COD4 and went back to buy it again. Being that you need to have some kind of storage device to store your Live account on, everyone on Live has the capability to play this game on Live. Most people on Live have a hard drive simply because the memory cards are to small for all the game updates let alone demos,videos,etc.. Memory card users are very limited in their Live functionality.
Are you trying to say that because they are single player games that they weren't played by people who were connected to "Live". Perhaps you are not aware that every game that a person plays while connected to "Live" is also connected to "Live" and can be counted very accurately or perhaps you are dumb.

There are way to many Sony slurpers here. Sony does two price cuts and SKU revisions,(after saying multiple SKU's were confusing and that backwards compatibility was key[must have lost there keys])in less than a year and it's brilliant.
