I guess if it helps sales of these games then achievements should definitely be added.
All the maps look awesome, 343 obviously know what they are doing.
Do you want the game to suck? At least the developers are challenging themselves, hopefully this will reflect the final product.
Half those games came out on the 360 when the PS3 wasn't even out, so you can't really count them as "lost" exclusives seeing as it was the only platform they could develop them for at the time.
This is why Microsoft launching the 360 a year ahead of the PS3 paid off. They couldn't afford to wait for the PS3 install base to grow when the 360 install base was already there. That's why you saw so many games change from exclusive to multiplatform. Props to Sony though for investing in their own first-party games though.
If they do a new one I hope they take it back to its roots. Demon Siege and Dawn of Dreams were good games, but nothing will beat Onimusha 2.
Every major release gets leaked, it's publicizing it on websites like this where the real damage is done.
I would ask for a Virtua Fighter 6, but 5 is pretty much perfect.
This.
Red Dead went on to sell 8 million copies and was GOTY. Also, Wake was quite poorly marketed compared to other Microsoft first-party titles. I don't think anyone who played it would deny it is a great game.
4 studios for 1 franchise? I'm no expert, but wouldn't Activision be better off forming one mega studio for CoD and cutting back to releasing a new installment every two years? This would significantly reduce franchise fatigue that CoD will inevitably suffer from, and offer more support to each title (updates, stat-tracking, maybe even dedicated servers) Come on Activision, CoD is the biggest franchise in the industry, treat it as such!
I think what they're trying to say is that it's going to get more of a push on both the development and marketing sides. 2033 was one of my favorite games of 2010 despite the iffy shooting mechanics and AI, the atmosphere alone pulled me in.
There was a 2 year gap between 1 and 2 because Infinity Ward was the only CoD develop at the time. Since then there has been a new CoD every year.
I dunno, Two Two being bought out has been on the cards for a while. The revenue they earn from Call of Duty is bound to go somewhere.
Massive lol at the reaction to this by the fanboys. He obviously said it with the most light-hearted intention, but as per, the fanboys go into uber rage mode and start tearing down the metaphorical walls of the internet. Again, LOL.
Excellent news, I wonder which ending will turn out to be canon.
I reckon we will see the Halo Remake and whatever that Gears of War announcement was at the VGAs. Hopefully we will see something on that Kingdoms game as well.
I love how you post the same list 3 times in the same article, just in case we miss it the first and second time round. This list will probably do the rounds like that pathetic 2011 "core exclusives" list.
Who cares? At least everyone gets to play it.
I would like to see them make a new IP. Fable is a popular franchise though and you can't ignore its success.
Shouldn't their review argue why it doesn't deserve a 7? Making a separate article just seems pointless. I mean, everyone has an opinion, what right does anyone have to say it's wrong?
