If you read the article is basically says that Microsoft are already showing signs of investing in next-gen technology while Sony seems too focused on the PS3 and PSP2. Seems like a fair point to me, the PS3 is more future-proof than the 360 so it's more likely that Microsoft will launch their next console before Sony do.
Not the best title, but typical of people to counter-argue the article before they even read it.
MK vs DC
You're not sure, you just hope it will be, and it won't.
Yeah plus it was going to be open world but then they scrapped that concept, which surely ate into development time. Now they have a clear direction it should take much less time to make.
That's not true, you can buy 500, 1000 points etc directly off Xbox Live, or you can get 800 and 1200 points cards if you look online.
You top up with more than you need, which in turn makes you want to buy something else, effectively an add-on sale. It's a very effective sales technique despite being inconvenient for the customer.
They're not forcing you to play it with other people.
Resi 4 gets really silly towards the end. I mean they ripped this sequence from the Resi Evil film, shameful.
Tetris is casual and yet it requires skill and is one of the most addictive games ever.
Seriously, I would never have realized if I hadn't seen this article.
It's pretty irrelevant at this point. Although the PS3 is technically in third place, it has still been massively successful for Sony and the third parties. It's not like last generation when the PS2 was a runaway success and the Xbox and Gamecube were resounding failures, all three consoles have enjoyed success this time round.
Not surprising that this is the view of a PC gamer, complaining about graphics and that. The game has one of the most epic campaigns I have played in an FPS for years, despite the weak ending. Yeah the AI can be pretty awful but enemies can still be pretty formidable, especially towards the end. I've not even started with the multiplayer yet, although I played the beta and that was fun.
Right so if your interest in music extends to the charts and knowing who's number 1 then you're a nerd are you? Come off it.
I personally am interested in sales as it is an extension of my interest in games. It's funny how so many people claim not to be interested and yet sales articles always attract the most traffic. Yeah I'm interested but at least I'm willing to admit it.
1. There's already a sleep timer
2. I'm pretty sure they're constantly working on security
3. You can opt out of Xbox and partner marketing via family settings
4. This is already happening, no use to me living in the UK
5. You have always been able to customize your background
6. Really? I don't see the benefit of console web browsers
7. Again, I'm sure they're working on added Kinect support
For some people 4GB is all they need. One of my mates has an Arcade unit with 256MB of flash memory for nearly two years now and he's never complained about needing more space. Many people that buy consoles only need enough space to save games.
The facial mo-cap in LA Noire is unrivaled. I usually hate it when people deal in absolutes but you would be a fool to think otherwise.
@ Dragun
No it's because today marks the end of the fiscal year, so all the sales data is usually released around now.
Lagging behind a bit? The 360 has like a 10 million lead over the PS3 in the US.
Yeah but he tries to pass of his statements as facts without any sources or evidence. Without this his argument might as well be that of a delusional fanboy.
