Sorry, but anybody that believes MS will have games and such that will ingrain Natal into the hardcore gaming realm is simply fooling themselves. They are producing Natal for one reason and one reason alone. Nintendo has proven that casuals like motion control and MS is intent on robbing Nintendo of their install base to try and increase their own install base. It has nothing to do with hardcore gamers, nothing at all!

Oh, one chart? Oh, the chart that makes little difference? Looking at the number one seller in the videogame section of Amazon I still see the PS3 on top. So where is the 360?
You gotta give them something since their exclusives look like butt compared to the PS3 exclusives. Lazy devs take the easy road and reap the money from it. You cannot argue with my logic because the PS3 exclusives blow any argument out of the water.

Compare a 300 dollar DVD player with decent games and pay-to-play online to a 300 dollar Blu-ray player with free online and great games. Consider the 360 trumped.

Who was it that said BD is not needed? Who was it that said the PS3 had no games? Who was it that said the PSN is lame? Can't say those things now, especially since people are seeing all of those things said were lies from the Xbox fanboy crowd. Sorry but I thought that the most reliable console packing the best hardware with the best games on the market today was the only choice anybody had? You know, the PS3? All others are simply substitues.

Catch that? When the 360 has a 54% failure rate, folks will migrate to what is reliable and at their price. Now that the PS3 is the right price it will stomp the 360 in terms of world wide sales.
At least we are not paying for a service and having it go down for a week at a time or have repeated updates that shut the service down for hours and even days. Now that's getting what you paid for...
When you hear reports that 360's on a display floor die when they try to run games like Mass Effect 2 it becomes a bit concerning. I say new to gaming folks should stick with what not only has the best games but I suggest to them to stick with what has the most reliable hardware. I could mention the most sophisticated hardware and the console with the most entertainment value for the money but you already knew all of those things.
It should be the PS3. It is the best overall well rounded gaming package and offers way more in entertainment value than the Xbox 360.
That all of this is just coincidental considering that there is a report that Sony will be releasing a 250 gig Slim soon? LOL

Sorry, but any corporation that knowing releases a console that fails is pathetic and does not care about the consumer. Any company that releases product that in no way presents itself with anything for free is subject to criticism. With Sony, you at least get free online and if you compare the price of the Elite and Slim PS3, if the Elite was the current benchmark then you could argue that Sony is giving away a free BD player, WiFi and rechargeable batteries with every PS3 sold.
I share your sentiments to the letter and feel for ya. I was a huge MS supporter until I realized that they did not support me as a gamer but would rather rip me off and sell me something I could get free elsewhere. I am now an avid PC and PS3 user. Kudos for putting your neck out there and making me proud to know there are others out there like me in nearly every single way.

It's nice to see they can make a decent decision once and a great while. I do have to say though that these two devices are nowhere near similar. The PS3 is by far the superior console.

They did make that promise but since when did they inherently stick with every promise they have ever made? Never has any company stuck with every promise they have made and MS is no slouch when it comes to lying to the public to rally support. What they consider AAA titles for hardcore gamers will more than likely be what The Conduit is for the Wii... Washed out attempts to appease the hardcore but at their own core they will be lame.
