They wanted the most reliable platform to perform their computing needs. The PS3 is rock solid so I think it is safe to once again say, it only does everyting.
Having owned a Wii and seen even the meta scores of all Wii games, there are only a few gems amidst the sheer massive number of shovelware games. IMHO, the few gems available are not worth the entry price of the Wii itself. I love games but have often wondered why the heck I even bought the Wii.
If these guys have run a study about war crimes in literature? If not then what is taking them so long?
And will admit that the Wii is a joke compared to that but in the end, what sells is what makes money and money makes companies happy. Expect another Wii like console from Ninty next gen as this one has sold like hotcakes.
Wow, that's interesting.. The PS3 is three years old too! So at the time of launch the PS3 was up to date and featured current and future tech. Unlike the other console using DVD and excluding simple features like WiFi...

Sorry, I am not a big fan of Halo. Played all the games but the online is not for me. It would be cool to see them make a remake of Marathon and add a multiplayer more akin to COD.
Why anybody would have thought that the Cell would have been used in the PS4 is beyond me. Heck, if Sony went by that method they would have just updated the Emotion Engine and slapped that int he PS3. Sony does not use old tech for their consoles, unlike some other console makers.
In order for it to be racist, people here would have to be hating on him because of the color of his skin. Interestingly enough however they are not. They are in fact hating on him because he is known for flame bait titles and false rumors. If he had more cred then people would not hate so much. Try and remember what racism is all about and in the mean time, STFU and don't be so quick to call people racist when you know nothing about it.
And that is all I want. Now, if they have a monthly premium for a set of movie downloads and perhaps games or demos then sure, I might look into it but at the moment, all I need the PSN for is to game online.
Oh look, an insecure PC nerd. Sorry, but since this is about consoles I'll stick to talking about the only gaming platform that matters these days. PC gaming is for the few while console gaming is where gaming is at these days.
They both update fine and run great. Sorry, but this is not some Microsoft console we are talking about. Failure rates are far and few between on the PS3. Only the media likes to make a mountain out of the mole hill since they have to dig so deep to find any negative news on the PS3 and only have to sift over a small puddle of information to find anything negative about their precious 360.
Yes they are. It would not surprise me if they had some folks working with them that started the famed SDF since we all know the SDF was in fact originated by a bunch of Xbox fangirls. It's sad how low the Xbox fans will stoop these days.
So it will be like the PS3 is today? Unequaled graphics? Sounds like Sony is up to their usual business model of making the consumer happy again. Kudos.
Same basic game with different levels, slightly polished graphics and a few new weapons. Game modes and such included, it is an expansion but then again, isn't any sequel an expansion these days?
Sorry, but I don't typically judge a game by number sold but this one was supposed to be the next coming of the christ and it is not even selling half of what GT5 Prolog sold. Pathetic.
Now there is something you don't see every day... Sorry, but Joystiq can sit and spin on a joystick for all I care. I tried listening to one of their pod casts and let me tell you I have not heard a pod cast that made me want to puke before that... They took that cookie hand and fist. Pathetic.
My biggest "oh-crap" moment was when I fired up the MP and experienced just how awesome it was and is. It is by far the best MP game I have played this year. Second to it is Uncharted 2. Both take up all my time on the MP side of gaming.
