Sorry, but you could sell a billion of them and I could care less. The console is loved by my kids but by me and those I know who want serious games, the Wii is not for us.
I call BS on the PC folks that talk trash about it. IMHO I think they talk trash then go home and play the game. Some days it just sounds to me like it is hip and cool to join in on all the Infinity Ward bashing...
They were all a blast to play and the fact that some of the track was carried over to each of the series made getting used to the new games so much easier. Great titles.
Because PC people are anti Infinity Ward. No, not talking about lately but due to the massive number of pirates that copied the game COD4, Infinity Ward is simply sticking it to you all because the pirates were rampant. Eh, that's just MHO so take it for what it is worth.
Where the heck is ET or Superman 64 on that list? Not there? Epic fail if you ask me.
So now that Infinity Ward decides to do it it's just that much worse? It's been bad for the past few years and no matter who does it, it's still bad.
As it will effect the next title to be released. It may not be too effective but it will have some effect none the less.
Have you thought about upgrading from Net Zero to say cable or DSL?

If that is the case then I am a happy camper. Free online play and downloadable movies and music. Kudos Sony for making the PSN a place I want to hang out and spend my money and play games with my friends for free.

Why? You planning on taking this down the runway at a fashion show or something? I don't care what it looks like as long as it works better than anything else out there. It's not like you are going to be taking this to the mall and showing it off or wearing on your belt anytime soon. Who gives a crap what it looks like, just make it work better than anything else.
The trophy issue is a network time out issue. The network is timing out before it syncs all the trophy info. It's been like that since day one of the trophy support. I have the issue too but only when I don't sync my trophies after each game I beat. If you let it go too long then you end up stuck with having to do it over and over again. Just sync the trophies after each game you beat or every couple days and you will be fine.
If you are that serious about the news you read these days then you need to take a step back and understand that the media is at fault here and that you simply need to take the news you read with a grain of salt. Who cares if they announce it, it isn't real and tangible until it is in your hands so ignore it and play the games currently out.
Well, actually maybe it runs right next to the Cerebral Bore from Turok. Now that was one awesome weapon.
Do we need journalists writing articles about silly fanboy rumors that we all know will never come true? I can see ME2 coming to PS3 (very unlikely however) but Gears? Never. That has been and will forever be an Xbox 360 exclusive... (and PC).
That the FB integration to the XMB is simply an ad-on to their browser option to FB. You can access your FB account on the browser and now this simply posts your game info. It's only adding to the already cool option of clicking the browser and accessing your FB page. It's only silly and "dumb" to knock the efforts of Sony to give you something for free.
Those are by far the best looking shtoobs on any cosplay girl. Very nice.
You can hate on it all day long but in the end even the haters have to admit a great game when they play one.
