But that exactly what your statement is referring to "Steam only has 50 million users. "
Yes, I know what the article says. Your reference using "only" is referring to the figure being described as slightly disingenuous.
Only 50 million, merely 50 million, at best 50 million, just 50 million, at most 50. All the same meaning, unless you have another meaning for the word, I would like to hear it.
Agreed, cloud based services like the upcoming gaikai service and Onlive as you mentioned which streams data, but the whole we have x amount of servers that will make your console faster and more powerful. I think they are stretching that way too far!
But Sony doesn't have to do that! Nor any company for that matter.
Just provide some decent hardware without some BS cloud nonsense that will magically make a piece of hardware more powerful. They tried that will Sim City, stating that the computation where so complex they needed to process it using a cloud system. It was proven as total nonsense.
It's just a way to enforce their pathetic DRM measures. MS listen to your fans and supporters that made t...
The whole cloud thing is such BS, if MS was so candid on stating that it can provide X amount of extra power or processing it should of been shown in all it's glory or at least at the conference in some form!
MS prove me and everyone who thinks it's BS wrong!
They just make to the Xbox One "seem" more powerful.
Even PC's aren't future proof, every couple of years you need to upgrade if you want to play the latest games.
You get what you pay for. The amount of RROD the early Xbox 360 models had was ridiculous, compared to the PS3 YLOD.
It was cheaper because MS skimped its cooling. I had 360 Elite, within 18 months it RROD. My day one first gen Japanese PS3 model is still ticking away nicely.
And now that the PS4 is cheaper than the One, I am more than confident in the quality of the product when released. Sony has proved it.
"Only 50 million users?"
You make it sound like its a minuscule number!
Many thanks, Quattro Bajeena salutes you Sir.
Job done then Iwata-san. Portable console gaming with a physical control scheme will always be more suitable over virtual or touch controls!
I would definitely agree with the first part of your statement. But as for basically writing off MS's titles is a little premature and hasty. Although I am surprised that Killer Instrict is F2P and being developed by a different studio with a mediocre track record.
I think the reason why so much attention is being given to MS at E3 is because the games are new where Sony has already unveiled most of their PS4 title with it's initial unveiling.
Overall...
I am spinning nothing. A game that fans have been waiting for for a long long time, the best they give us is a f2p model. It's a launch title, then might as well give it all the bells and whistle.
How about MS holding some things with some respect. MS has nothing but shit on Rare's games.
Sony ain't messing around!
Your salty tears taste good!
Just when i thought MS couldn't do anything more stupid!
Gracias senor Sony:)
Typical comments from the Japanese Otaku Basement Monsters. Probably the same people who fantasize about AKB48, buy 100 cds for a handshake ticket chance, and get pissed off when their idols have real life relationships because it's not them!
Last I checked they weren't made for jogging in the slightest. How about using some of that winning logic next time!
People buy products and don't use them as intended, then bitch about it when something goes wrong.
Yes we all know we technically don't own the games we buy, but there has never been such draconian methods used to keep paying customers in check. Having the freedom to play a game offline or online, at home or take it to a friends house should not be restricted. And not restricted to bullahit 24 hour checks!
Some of us have learnt a second and even a third language. Stop being a twat! Must be hard to fathom people being more intelligent than you or speaking another language besides English!
......and 360 is more than 3 and 3 still sold more. Your point again?
Yes Steven, nobody will care about a video game character if you make a like Boom Blox!
I would of thought the Steven and George would at least carry themselves with some integrity instead of just generalizing!
