Sony has 2 hard questions to answer: did they take resemble precautions (which they didn't. The cc#'s are required by contract with Visa,MasterCard etc to encrypt the numbers and associated data....names, expire date etc.)
Their arrogance assumed that their closed network was secure enough to ignore this simple contract.

It's great! At first I had my doubts about length....but it's jammed with levels!
I'll get to coop layer....my mind hurts. Lol

I like the beta. It's very team driven if you want to win. It's a bit sluggish, but it could be that we are used to playing cod/halo/insert fps that are waaay to fast?
Killstreaks...how is this bad? I like being rewarded in game for kills. If I want to play without killstreak...

Granted I never played a socom before...but, I like the beta. I see the issues, sluggishness, lack of animation on falls, zoom looks like it was added for move users.
But, I see the potential and zipper support their babies for long after the initial noobs have come and gone. It feels like a tighter MAG.
Now, people complaining that the map has too much hiding spots...you need to listen to yourselves. Would you rather play on a flat plain? The detailed maps...
I platted kz3. But mp felt hollow. I think COD ruined fps mp for me.
Though cod sucks in many ways....it always had me wanting to unlock stuff.
That reward system is severely limiting in kz3.
If your above quote is true and they did encrypt....which I have also read they didn't. Both cc & names. But if they did encrypt the cc....then Sony is fine.
