You miss the pt of the movie. It's kinda like Cloverfield....your never going to know mote than the eyes and ears if the marines themselves. So I fail to understand what more in terms of story you require or expect.
Also, though I agree it's unimaginative to make aliens in these movies bipedal humanoid machines....it's very difficult to have an audience intrigued and amazed by anything else. Just have a look at Hollywood alien movies. You dont think they have foc...
It's great! But has issues...something about the balance of vehicles is off. It's hard to describe.
I'm not talking physics...but vehicles gaming balance.
All vehicles seem to have same top speed. It's only acceleration that's different, and control.
Perks are largely pointless. Only at lvl 15 do you start to see perks that you can feel make a difference.
But it's Hella fun and cosmetic customization is amazing!
The game is amazing! But....
Perks are largely tacked on...most are unnoticeable. You won't see a perk worth much until lvl 15.
Game play is sweet....but balance between vehicles is broken. You must pick the correct vehicle for each track....great. But, since all vehicles handle differently, the game forces you to play vehicles you'd hate! Unless you dont care about being competitive. In that case choose whatever you like.

You I mean. The game is quite good. It isn't perfect and it needed more fluff to flesh out the universe, but it fun and lag for me is non-existent even with full rooms! It has been patched too.
Heavy psn users might find this pretty useless. I own much of the psn games I want.
Though a price range option would be best. I can't see them being that generous. Lol
You might think that this game is average by reviews and arm chair warriors who just repeat what they read from some hack of a reviewer.
I been playing the campaign solo....it's fun but hard. Even on easy AI is tough. Stupid but tough.

What hurts brink is cod mentalities for sure. I've read countless critisms that it relies too much on team play. Duh! That was the crux of the design.
Now their AI is bad...that's probably patchable, but wow! Why they talked up their AI in their vid docs is a real mystery.
They also decided to focus on a less cinematic approach....but with such a unique world, it needs a story to flesh it out. If I was them I'd release free dlc side stories that...
It's good to reach for the heavens....but try not to talk smack like bf3>mw3 recent talk.

But as long as they realize the benchmarks they are trying to exceed are held by uncharted & Gears then they'll do fine.

This game isn't the revolutionary fps it claimed it would be....but it is good and fun.
Problem is it suffers to a large degree from MAG syndrome. Initially it feels less inspiried. But as you unlock skills and weapons, character clothes....it quickly becomes close to the benchmark of innovation it once claimed itself to be.

Personally, I'd rather have a side story with the ratman and how he managed to find the secret areas and such.

The game did a few things wrong....mostly in the pre-pump up of the devs vid docs.
AI isn't horrible...but it's far from good. Single plyr isn't really cinematic enough...but they planned it that way. Not a good design choice.
But gameplay, team based objective gameplay that doesn't keep a record of your k/d ratios ....this hurts cod elitists and that's a massive mark...

This company is a massive billion dollar Corp. I'm certain they are cutting corners in an attempt to cut costs. That includes but is not limited to - lying about working on psn all around the clock.
You really think they are paying OT to network techs & security techs? I'm in doubt.

Ummm....whether the cards ate created already or not, you still stamp your name in cards like visa and MasterCard. That's in essence where some of that $3-$5 comes into play.
Plus, resources like it security which will need to be redirected to this issue.

But this trailer...it's pretty amazing. I immediately notice better lighting & animations than previous cods. Globe trotting will insure variety of maps. I personally like modern weapons too.
