I've played both gears to completion. Many hrs of mp.

I found the warhammer 40k demo functionally just as capable as gears series. And, I find the 40k universe more interesting.

Mp looks incredible in both games.

I know I've got it preordered. It's really tight.
Mp promises to be awesome as it is jammed full of cosmetic rewards that you can use to create your space marine. And it's not fps....which makes these unlocks particularly appealing.

You also unlock useful things too. Lol.

I played the demo. I've had the game preordered for months. I went into the demo after reading people's impressions. Surely the majority can't be wrong?

But for me they are. I like the refreshing control scheme. I like the lock & lean cover system. It takes getting used to for sure, but it works really well once you "get" it.

Guns feel really powerful. No quick scoping or insta-swivel from turning sensitivity up to 70% might turn of...

They don't open games in Canada....not at my location that I go to.

But this is really bad for sure!

I read impressions going in and i was pissed! I was excited for this game and have it prepaid already...months ago.

So i decided to be my own critic and just try it. I hated it......at first!

To me it looks good and is solid in the framerate/screen tear department on ps3.

But, it's the controls that will make most give up....but I started to get "it" about 20mins into the demo. I started to see what codies was trying to do...an...

I laugh when people are still dreaming about xchat.
I want a revamped GUI...one where trophies are synced instantly like 360 achievements. Where I don't wait for loading of the gui.

I love my ps3, but Sony needs to revamp this stuff. And ps4 needs ram out it's a$$! No excuse for either console to not have min 2gb of ram.

I want to see the detailed spec sheet for mw3 now.

Bf3 looks great....but, I never really enjoyed the full war dynamic. That feeling of spawningband immediately getting sniped is magnified by douches who happen to be hammering the spawn with tank shells.

I know many people love it....but, I think why stop at the set up they have now? I wanna play a gun technician on a battleship firing long range missiles....no threat of douches, and I get to kill indiscrim...

Dmc2 wasnt the smart ass Dante people wanted. But he is supposed to be older....like late 40's. He acted appropriately. I enjoyed it for what it was. And th chick was a cool designed character.

Only at the very last cutscene does Dante act like the youthful Dante. It made the cutscene and ending more dramatic.

I've played a metric sh^t storm of games this gen. Both ps3 & 360.....how many of them do I still talk about to friends? Not many....demon souls, COD's (for good or bad), bfbc2, halo.....sure.....and mirrors edge.

I loved this game! It's atmosphere, music, gameplay was and still is stellar. To make a sequel into AAA status:

-open world...but focused open world. Not open just to create more filler
-gunplay improvement
-cqc impr...

I'm concerned that ID's big debut on current HD consoles, looks great....60FPS insanely awesome....but mp is waaaaay gimped!

4plyr twisted metal with side missions....that typically take a total of 3mins for a match? WTF?

"Legends of the Wastelands" co-op like many other FPS these days...but Carmack talks it up like it's reinventing bread. LOL

You can quote me - Rage will be a great single plyr game with a bit of dabblin...

I hear people say it's plays like cod...but no one has given specifics. What is it that is so "cod"?

I'm all for pups with explosives! LOL
But if your looking for something different take a look at Bodycount...Aug 30th US release.

I find it interesting that the AI is class based and you'll see medics rushing out to rev people...only it's AI. (Much better done than Brink).

They even have infiltrators that steal XP & Intel! LOL reminded me of that jackass thief in Golden Axe!
