I'm 3 trophies from plat & I can say this game is fun!
But, I agree that anarchy mode (4plyr) is too shallow with only 6 maps.
Echo mode is a veiled excuse to make players think they are getting more value in their purchase. But, it's the same levels you played in single player....minus cutscenes.
On ps3 (which is what I played), it suffers horrible framerate drops in 1 or 2 areas in the entire game. It was massively bad in the level with the two b...

I think also gaming isn't for kids at this level. At least it's not supposed to be.
As adults tend to have other things going on...5-7hrs is my sweet spot anyways. With mp as my long term fun.
I played ff13....and that was long. And it reminded me of how much I don't want to stay committed to one game without playing other games.

2 things I see here that makes this awesome.
1 - sniping on the move is non-existent in real life. Since fps are trying to get realism with over the top fun, it should be very hard. Not quick scoping crap.
2 - rolling objectives make campers less effective. This should be in every fps!
Let's keep in mind that too much realsm breaks the experience. One shot from even a .22 is enough to kill or slow you down...so what's the point of other weapons? You ...

The problem with waiting is the community gets smaller. The excitement of day 1 (or few weeks after release) isn't there. I know I enjoy my movies day 1, and same applies to my games.
If you like to play games....including the non-AAA titles, getting a game 4 months later isn't as great. Plus, what about your friends (psn/live)? Many move on to the next big thing...but your just getting started! In effect putting you behind. Not as bad an issue fo...

I had no problem with story, controls. I liked the characters. The story was meant for you to imagine much of the universe....it wasn't all handed to you.
Was it perfect? Heck no! But it was fun & emotionally gripping for me.
Was the music a huge part of that....for me, yes. Seldom is music in games so well fitting or a character onto itself.

This bums me out. I played the first one and finished the main game.
From the moment the music started....man, this game achieved something special. I was moved.
The color, the uniqueness....Faith really was a strong female lead that felt believeable.

As much as I like/hate the recent COD's....they give amazing replay. This in turn surely hurts other game sales.
see how close this really is to COD these days. Not that some of the conventions like ranking up aren't fun and needed. But look at the textures in this....almost dead on! LOL

Yeah, 3.56 was hacked an hr after the update was live.
But, it was a Sony Trojan horse....it really just was a way to send back the Mac address of the ps3 as well as hidden identifiers.
