Skyrim looks to be amazing. Rage also.
Dark souls will be, but niche game....especially due to difficulty. (which I'm down with)
But unch3 will be a total package....and that's why it'll be goty. It'll have award winning single player, mp will be vastly improved and will shine, beta was great!

It's important to note that Dice & more so EA were talking up bf3 at the expense of MW3....especially the graphics. Specifically ghay they haven't changed.
But bf3 beta is only 5 weeks before launch...and the beta looks very uninspired. Screen tearing in bc2 was horrible and it's still in bf3 beta?!! Weird kill cam errors like being to close or showing massive clipping with pruned fools.
I'm underwhelmed and likely be changing to the oth...
I'm not sure if Dice pulled the higher rez textures to lower the beta file size....but I'm not impressed.
Im preordered bf3....but this beta leaves me feeling meh.
I'll try it for several hours to get a better picture....but right now it needs work & upgraded textures. Screen tearing can be optimized out in the final release. But since bc2 has it and bf3 newer frost bite has it....I'm willing to bet it's in the final release...even if ...
I love the mp....minus the noobs with sawed offs.
But, the story was good. It wasn't great like reviews suggest. In my opinion. I never had a wow moment or a moment of reflection. Plenty of strings left untied too.
I found the campaign to be ok. Wasn't as great or even as good as reviews would lead you to believe.
Horde is king and beast is fun. Mp is awash with sawed-off cowards. Yeah, they run up shoot...if they miss, he'll even if they don't, they run and reload rather than switch weapons. It's changed the game. It used to be good players rushed with the shotty...took skill to insta-gib. Maybe 2 shots if the glanced you. Now the sawed off makes every scrub just kill ...
It might be worth mentioning that if you don't have live.....you get nothing but campaign mode.
Really sad of MS to be so greedy.
If you have live you can enter horde or beast mode and play by yourself with bots. Not so without live.
It is broken in terms of balance though.
Every close up encounter is a saw-off cqc.
And if they miss....rather than change weapons, they runaway while reloading the sawed-off shotty.
It's so overused that it's clearly abused. And it's because it's a instant 1 hit kill with massive spread.
It was similar in gears 1&2 and the regular gnashed shotty. But that takes two shots unless you have good aim. The sawed off requires no scopi...

Saw-off shotty is sooooo overused, it's game breaking in competitive mp.
I played like 30 matches last night.....every single close up battles was some douche running up, firing and running away while they reload. No switching weapons, no trying to down you from a mid-distance then rush to execute....you know, like the last 2 games were designed to do.
I play a lot...
They released 2 patches now...both screwing saves and progress.
At this point - as a consumer, enoughs enough. I sold it after reaching chapter 5. I just don't see a game good enough to warrant indifference to these glitches.

I haven't played my box since mass effect 2 launch. So firing up gears3 is awesome but it feels weird....learning curve is kinda brutal. Lol
But it looks great. My matchmaking is super slow though. Not sure why.

It's bound to happen. Economics suggests that whenever a company sees massive profits for a significant amount of time....a collapse will follow unless steps are taken. Ninny never bothered to branch out from their 2 table legs. Of course the table will fall over.
I couldn't finish it. The bugs and glitches were bad....but the save glitch is just wow! Like how did this save glitch pass quality control?
