Sorry you can't expect a game that is full retail and not blatantly advertised as mp only to get a pass solely because the devs delivered on what they know.

I like the over the top story and chracters in COD series.
Millions play mp...it might be casual friendly, I don't see that as a negative.

Spawning on squad helps, but I never really felt helpless like I do in bc2/bf3...

Their are a few other covenants that are pvp oriented. I just wish the servers were merged to a few so I could find help once in a while.

I will say this....if you want tension try carrying a 100k in souls as you backtrack to the firelink shrine....and you get invaded. I eventually quit. Too much risk!!!! Lol
I had an awesome experience. I was in the forest covenant and got called via the ring. I got in a fight with this dude...he was clearly more powerful than my then lvl 41 bandit.
We danced, parried and reposte....but nothing I could do. I could get 248hp damage on him if I backstabbed him, but it merely scratched his health bar!

I feel like bf3 will deliver a mp experience in 1-2 modes of greatness. The vehicles, and destruction will rock!
But as an overall full experience mw3 has my money. So many modes, new slight slant on team play means their will be those nights where it's about team play.

To be clear...I'm good with online codes for 1st time purchases of online mp games. But, this holding content back from single player games I don't feel is the direction us as gamers will benefit. We'll suffer for it.

Well I raped lamestop for many years here in Canada. They'd give $40 for new releases that were traded to them. You powertrade that for the %50 boost and nail another new release for free!
Theses days they only give $30, powertraded that's not enough to cover a full game. You end up paying $10 or something.
You can't deny COD is more about instant gratification and the fps to really start customization. Perks added a much need boost to standard fps fare. Talking infantry fps.
Bf3 has several glaring flaws. Mp is great...but what if you don't have access to Internet? Or servers are down? Lol
