Mw3 is fun, addictive and has plenty of longevity. Done.

It's funny. Net minority complain about only 2 new modes....the series has more ways to shoot each others faces off than any other fps. I'm kinda surprised that it doesn't have 1 in the chamber. But I'm more than loving what's there.

Problem with random infinite quests.... there's no end!
In theory you'd think it was an awesome idea....but i willing to bet it'll get old quickly. I can't see how they could make it part of the big narrative and still be random. At first the illusion will be great - but, I know i'd feel annoyed if i sank 20hrs into what amounts to grinding.

Yes, I'll say this. COD has hurt the other developers. You need only look at DICE bf3 to see that their single player was lacking, but codified.
Their are lots of games this season that deserve our attention. But, mw3 is an incredible package for your value. Elite....well the sub service should pay itself in a years worth of dlc. But the rest of it is something that should be free.
Gotta say the template and gunplay is tops.

Do you really think activision will allow mw3 to "fail" and hence hurt future elite sub service?
In the past issues weren't addressed as quickly as they should have been. And that's true. But I'll be very surprised if mw3 isn't handled with utmost care. This is Activisions flagship title using elite sub, I expect things to be much better in terms of hackers and patching exploits.
I laugh at the argument that mw3 is same as mw2.

But if you play a mix of genres, at least for me....I can easily get back into it.
For me it's mw3, unch3 & either a racer or fighter. I just finished a 95hr dark souls and I'm not touching a rpg for a while. That games gameplay is so good, I'm seriously afraid skyrim will be too simple for me.
I'm talking about gameplay not exploration or atmosph...

Also, 16 maps right out of the box is very nice.
An argument I here time and again is that bf3 is more realistic by virtue of vehicles & destruction. Lol really? How many foot soldiers are tank drivers? How about 1 ton of masonry blown from a wall that simply disappears and managed to sail right through you while you huddled in said cover.

Treyarch has a good slower feel, but their stuck with settings in the past that I'm tired of. Blops 60's weapons and feel is boring to me.
I love the MW weapons and modern setting. I also enjoy the gameplay. So MW series gets my vote.
