Now that MS allows self publishing, will there still be regular published indie games as well? If so self published titles will be the red headed step child and will have poor visibility to consumers unless they pay for advertisement.

PS3 has editing software. Might not be as elaborate as some PC software, but it works. So I would imagine PS4 will have similar tools for editing.
That's the only problem I have with digital downloads and multiplayer only games. If they shut the servers down your screwed...

It's an easy fix. If your pro DRM, buy all your games digitally. If not buy the disk. Having a choice is always a good thing....
Read the headlines of THIS article. Then tell me with an honest face that Microsoft is the first to include a HDD (the PC says Hi). Then continue with how Microsoft was the first console that had online play (guess what, the Dreamcast says Hi too). If indies are so important why were they limited to 50 mb at launch and why is Microsoft not open with indies like everyone else... Just using someone else's idea don't make them innovators. With only 4 months or so left until launch you would think MS should have their specs finalized. I honestly think that Sony caught MS off guard with their feb announcement and MS has been in scramble mode ever since.
One spec MS has going for them, is that their box is 50 % larger than PS4 and still has an external power supply. Winner winner chicken dinner...

I knew Microsoft was hiding something. No way were publishers allowing one purchase to cross 10 consoles. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...
Just lower the price of digital games and DRM will take care of itself.
