It’s sad that another company can’t let its flock of developers be free to express themselves into something like this without the constant stream of dissatisfaction on all fronts besides the same old song and Forza, Gears and Halo. Oh now in 4K somehow makes gameplay better...Lol
If backwards compatability was a big deal, don’t you think sales would tell the real story. Awesome that is an option but not a real system seller. Cloud power and tv was all they talked about in the beginning of this generation and now it’s all about old games? Unique experiences sell a system not upgraded old games we have already played. I agree that it should be compared to the Xbox One S. It upscales to 4K so that should the comparison. With only a $50 price difference for a 1tb hdd. My bet it will be night and day. But their new excuse will be it's not fair, it's been upgraded. But for a $400 console it's a steal....
For $400 bucks what do you expect? A 4K 60 fps monster gaming machine? I'm still waiting for a engaging experience on the Xbox to match that of The Last of us. A mediocre game is still a mediocre game in 4K. Upscaled or not.
Wonder why digital foundry hasn't shown a 4K upscaled version of any Xbox one slim game to date? 720p to 4K no worries, it will look the same as a ps4 pro upscaled. Lol
