One thing I would be concerned about using Kinect is for some reason you use Kinect as your microphone and your stereo for sound, what if someone your playing with says Xbox off. Would your xbox turn off?

Is there a way I can upscale my privacy?
4k tv's upscale 1080p signals,but I'm not sure what an Xbox game running 720p native upscaled to 1080p then upscaled again by the 4k tv would look like. It will be interesting to see the results in less than 3 weeks.

Sony has been working on PS4 for at least 5 years and Xbox only 3 years and it's starting to show. Sony really caught MS with their pants down in February. But it is still early and they might get higher resolutions in the future...
