But if MS keeps its current policy "release it first on Xbox or we don't want it" then indie games will be few and far between. Sony has opened the door for indie developers to self publish and not be screwed over by high patch fees.
All I ask for is a jet pack to be included in DLC.

Motion camera hardware, it's called Kinect. 20 games, most of which will also say Kinect. New IP's, you might best look elsewhere...
Don't forget the fee's associated with being able to do anything on it or with it.
What they did with TV was pretty cool. But I'm a gamer and Games come first. It looks like from Microsoft's perspective is that hardcore gaming is secondary if its even that high up. We will see soon enough....
As for the always on, it is, its just in the form of Kinect
But it did show you their focus, and it wasn't games. One good thing though, Usher didn't perform.
They did nothing to dispel rumors of an always online. Seems to me they are relying heavy on the cloud, which could almost only mean "always online".
This game is the real deal. From the lighting to the incredible sound. It's totally immersive and surprising.
If next gen consoles weren't releasing this year, this game would ( and possibly still might ) be a system seller.
