That's like saying Haze is the best FPS ever. Games that don't work on day one should not go unpunished ( I mean besides poor review scores and low sale numbers ). Fines should be levied against publishers and developers, until the game is fixed. Too many games this gen being rushed to market that needed more development time.

How about Portal 2. That was cross platform (PS3 and PC via Steam). Another game that allowed PC maps on PS3 was Unreal tournament 3. Shadow run was an MS game so it worked with games for windows. Xbox is and will always be a closed platform.
This just shows the pure greed of MS. GameStop showed Farcry 1,2 and 3 for $7.99 it's supposed to be $90. They are honoring those prices for the people who bought it. MS comes up with "even though its our mistake by letting you download it for free, you can only use it till dec 18th. So keep defending on how bad they are screwing you over and maybe next gen they will reward you by charging more for your precious gold subscription.
