Why is it news today that theres no career mode.
When there was never a career mode.
For years.
The physics are great.
The graphics are great.
It runs at 60fps.
GT5 has..
Career mode.
Upgrades.
Damage.
Graphics.
60fps&1080p.
16 car online.
Nevermind.
All i have to say is..
"TOO MUCH VARIETY!"

Since they didn't spend 4-5 years to max out the psp with a game that they said wouldn't have:
1. A career mode.
at the start.
And getting called
"It's easily the most realistic handling we've seen in a PSP driving game, and all this is done at a silky smooth 60 frames per second which, on the little screen, looks lush. That's why screenshots and trailers had us all excited. "
So a PSP game, looks great, and has real...
good job.
"While it's not possible to fully recreate the very same feeling you get from playing GT in Full HD, a new facet of gaming is opens its possibilities. If you have 15 minutes, if you're in your car, on the bus or on a train, you can turn it on, and play. So instead of recreating the same feeling you get when playing at home, we created a portable Gran Turismo that will offer the same satisfaction you get when playing at home." - Kazunori Yamauchi
"In single player ...
All the reviews say the same thing though, if you ignore the scores. No one is saying anything different.
GTmobil is a disappointment for anyone thinking it was going to be GT4 on a psp with buying/upgrades/career mode. But a simple search into gtpsp would have listed that prior to reviews.
The reviewer reviews it as what PD said it would be. A "portable party racer" without a career mode.
Or the reviewer says Sony lied and its not GT5 on a portable.
For example, you knew it wasn't going to have a career mode when it was announced.
How do reviewers miss that, and review it as if its a full single player game?
They've known it wasn't going to have a career mode day one. So why review it for not having one?
At all the expos you knew:
- No career mode.
- No Story mode.
- No upgrading
etc,
yet at the review you compare it to GT4?
Forza3 has a rewind feature, like GRID. There is some mode where you just steer, and painting. Which all has nothing to do with simulation driving, or physics. Which is why its often compared to NFS/Gothams of the world.
When you understand that the only perks unique to a title is that you can paint the body. You'll understand why that has nothing to do with knowing how to decrease lap times.
GT is compared to real life driving skill, everyone knows this by now. Whic...

Its like you hear the door from the bombshelter slowly creak open... they flock out gleefully with their Microscopes in hand to prove that again the well known truth that the only time a 360 game looks better than a ps3 one, is when the developers mess up the ps3 version.
You want to compare racers as being technical indicators.. i mean.. do we really want to go down that route?
I mean.. really?
Let me know if you realllly want to do that. I think Sony ...
Who else is with me on truly enjoying the game with fresh eyes come 30 or so days from now?
I cant wait.
What the hell was Sony thinking on that one?
just saying, thats why its...
over..
priced...
PSN is great for:
1. Playing a game you purchased online for free.
2. Messaging friends, that also play the game.
XBL is a community. More like an online service like AOL rather than just a service provider like PSN is. But the day PSN adds Cross game invites/Chat, thats the only reason youre paying for XBL. Keep in mind pS3 has a browser, and you can simply netflix from your ...
1. Voicemail/VoiceChat/Cross game.
2. Universal Invites.
Yes, theres other fluffy non-game related features, which all services are adding to, Vidzone/netflix etc. but the core game functions aren't worth it anymore.
Graphics Detail(Anti Aliasing Levels/Texture Filtering)
Loading times(Installation vs no installation speeds)
Which all require side by side 5x zoomed in comparisons.
Yep. Based on that you'd be lying to yourself to say the 360 doesn't have the upper hand.
But, are Ps3 exclusives better than the best Multiplatform games? MLBThe Show vs 2k, Infamous vs Prototype, Gran Turismo vs Need For Speed, LBP vs.. Killzone2 vs COD4/5/MW2, MGS4 vs...

Yes & No, Gameplay is always king. No matter what. Because we are playing "GAMES". With that said the Halo's and maddens are very much stagnant. Yet are the most purchased titles, so i'd imagine that will stay the same. Idiots will still buy Britney spears cd's, and ignore ben harper.
Less effort, maximum return is what those companies are after. They aren't in it to push forward gaming, but to enjoy counting paychecks as rein said. Which is fine. But there are othe...
