You guys are never going to forgive John for the PS3 version of Rage are you? He wasn't trying to kill the myth of the PS3's supposed technical prowess over other consoles(although he did). He tried to release the best game he could on consoles and didn't handicap one version because of the other.
As for the game. It wasn't as modern in design as other games but it sure was fun IMO... Had some of the most solid old school gameplay mechanics ever.
I guess there is a reason no one is in here giving opinions. Is 2 screen gaming really going to appeal to the masses? Is that 2nd screen an obstacle, distraction or an advantage?
Holding up a tablet in the air for hours is a disastrous concept(keeping both sources of input in sync with out always looking up and down).

Has nothing to do with buying it because its an exclusive. 360 fans play games that they like. Sounds like Sony fan thinking. There has been good exclusives every year what the heck are you talking about? I've currently playing Forza 4 and The Witcher 2(both highly rated games)

The world knows Samsung is making the better product for less sometimes. It's the reason the brand is taking over in Asia, Europe and has monopolized the Americas.
Samsung is out innovating most competition or taking bigger risks merging tech from other industries first.(primitive Kinect tech in TV etc) They come out with the best looking TV's setting the example. Picture quality starts at Solid and end at excellent throughout series or price points.

The Wii brought motion gaming to the world. It was a physical and social experience never seen before by casuals. Made gaming cool and less taboo for the masses.
Wii U has a fancy Sega Dreamcast controller adding more core hardware to complicate things, taking the focus away from the social pick up and play experience casuals now expect from consoles.

Another huge game coming is Farcry 3 which gets exclusive PS3 game content(added co-op missions)
For all we know the PC version of skyrim was planned for much later after the console versions but PS3 hardware is holding the devs up on the PS version. I was surprised they worked out the problems in the PS3 version as much as they did.

GTA 5 and Crysis 3 will prove it. Forza Horizon has day/night cycles, weather and weather physics. Forza Horizon has Forza's Simulator physics in a open world game with improved Forza 4 graphics and human and AI traffic.

A lot of the good looking PS3 exclusives are linear, static and painted. Often PS3 exclusives are simplistic in design(lack social gameplay and other features)
Many PS3 exclusives have fixed camera angles and are QTE style games with static environments. The best looking PS3 games have hand painted environments, painted by very good artists.
Multi platform games that are technically superior to ps3 exclusives that have many social features and are not as line...
You can play ME in so many ways. A pause player' may agree with you on the 2nd screen but out of the 40 to 50 full and incomplete play throughs I've never played the game(s) as a traditional RPG.
Too me it looks cleaner but the lighting is off? Dull or weaker contrast.
