I find myself playing Skyrim battle music in my head every once in a blue moon when something stressful happens like a gripe with my boss etc. LoL

Not according to reviewers, gamers and consumers. A handful of bitter PS3 fanboys(because of PS3 hardware) won't be able to override the masses opinions.

Skyrim is my favorite game ever. It's the only game that can randomly pop in my head no matter what I'm doing or where I'm at. The experience was that impactful. In my first play through I got lydia killed and right then and there I knew the game was special.
Women on my friends list were playing it i...

Who cares if they worked on modnations. It just means they could get more performance out of the 360.

That's it... Not that Modnations was taxing hardware wise to begin with, so two versions would look the same. PC version of sleeping dogs with texture packs looks like GTA4 with mods.

Sites like this started out that way. Now It's for hits due to fanboys not liking these sites showing the weaknesses of their console they worked so hard on trying to condition the world otherwise.

It's not just textures, the PS3 version seems to be at a lower resolution or not as sharp. With missing lighting effects, weaker water effects and missing textures.

Games that are technologically more advanced and or more open suffer on PS3's over hyped...

Maybe some sort of suit power up with the bow.

I don't think this game will be sandbox but certainly not a corridor shooter. Multi path, multi story at most, I guess Crysis 2 was open at times. Mini boxes. I'm guessing people that are complaining about being linear are saying so compared to the first game. Some of Crysis 2's mini sand box areas are huge .

Still a lot of people hating on Crysis 2 because it was inferior on PS3. Calling it linear is...

MSFT only caring about casuals is a myth created by haters that hate the fact MSFT was successfully able to penetrate the casual market as well as owning the hardcore market. The 360 has the most hardcore games this holiday than any of the other consoles(casual games too)

Nintendo will easily be able to have a competitive hardcore fanbase as long as the Wii U's hardware is able to keep up with the others(which it will) and get more serious with online. The tablet being a ...

I don't have a music store within 50 miles of where I live and I watch all my movies on Vudu and have a collection of shows and movies I own on their servers. A lot of movie rental places have went out of business in my region. IMO the only thing stopping the completion of the transition of DD in gaming is the cost of HDD and gaming companies making sure they have all their eggs lined up before they move.

Half of my collection of 360 games I own are either on my HDD or my...

I don't think Tablets can be a threat to consoles because they can never enter the console realm with the same versatility prowess and capability of performance(for the time being).

They will always be in another market due to their size and concept/design. Like Handheld vs consoles.

You can pack more hardware in Consoles and add peripherals easier without adding cost because of adapters for things like Disc drives and Motion tech etc.

One day I could see a manufacturer in the not too far off future come out with a powerful cloud based system that doubles as a tablet and server/hub with HDMI(for HDTV connection) and wireless controller capability. Only as a decent competitor to consoles. By then consoles would have evolved into being multi media home theater PC beasts with too much hardware in them for tablets to follow.

Wii u so far has done nothing but split up huds and menus of games on two differnt screens where the gamer has to look away from the screen. Most will see that as awkward. It will be seen as adding an extra step that was made convenient with traditional controller based gaming.

Some people sit leaning towards the tv when playing, so they would have to look down at the controller in a normal gaming environment at home.

No one expected the pad was a tablet that...

No one thinks It's actually a tablet with hundreds of dollars worth of hardware and software. It's a figure of speech born from the size and shape. Most call it that due to its huge bulky awkward shape for gaming.

If you're talking about JRPG that would be a mistake. The west has largely outgrown that genre. This is part of the reason why Japanese developers are falling behind and part of the reason Sony game platforms are hurting.

Sony relies on a dying fanbase. Most adults no longer watch Japanese cartoons and play Japanese cartoon games(anime/JRPG) I put it bluntly because this is the way people have started to see this art form.

Done right and women and childre...

Doesn't matter much. Vita seems like a hardcore platform. Adult men no longer carry around toys in their pockets.

The handheld market has moved in a casual direction. The most likely groups to buy handhelds are women and children and they already have casual handhelds and cellphones.

The oldschool handheld demographic have consoles hooked up to large screens and stereo and has set that trend for the most part.

It's pretty sad when you have to look for the comments with the most disagrees here on N4G for common sense posts. I read comments with the most disagrees first here.

Motion gaming and online social gaming has broken the social taboo barrier in the western world. Sony is the last to realize this. Sony is always more concerned with their technology they're always trying to push and their studios.

Sony doesn't invest in forward transformational vision...

I forgot to add...

Once the vast majority of consumers started to realize the PS3's capabilities were vastly overhyped and wasn't some godly tech from the year 3000 that changed the trend IMO.

Consumers started to see that 3rd party multi platform games that were technologically superior to PS3 exclusives looked and ran better on the 360. These new multi plats looked better, where bigger, had more online features, were more open(world, less static and...
