Got a kick out of the comments in here. The majority of developers have favoritism towards one console or another. The hypocrisy comes from the popularity of this franchise. Only N4g type people complain about this, no other groups ever really bother, assuming they care in the first place.

Crazy thing to say. It's like The RIGHT accusing democrats in congress of obstructionism while attacking and blaming Obama for the inherited economy.
Devs wan't to chip away at the hearts and minds of COD fans while they have the momentum from BF3. Their usual span for releases in this franchise would cause them to lose too much ground in what I mentioned above.
Waiting till next gen isn't as important to them when we should be able to play BF4 on new hardware anyways. All they would have to do for graphics whores, is release next gen texture paks-DLC or other types of upgrades. The game will probably look better t...

Vita could copy DS games or do them Better(or something original that gets much praise). The Vita would run into the hardware image issue.
The DS name itself, has over time became a brand that nullifies the dying taboo of adults playing video games. No other brand in the industry has made more progress in this regard.
So I guess 3DS finally acquired all the things I mentioned above when you said it took off(Image, simplicity, franchises people love)
It's not games or price. The handheld market moved to casual. Nintendo's stratedy is geared towards the casuals end of the spectrum. PS Vita is suppose to be some "cool guy's tech". Grown a$$ men don't carry around toys in their pockets anymore. Women and children tend to use handhelds more, outside of the loyal hardcore crowd. Most adults use Home Theaters for gaming, the novelty of mobile consoles has fizzled out universally. Most already carry around hardware that...

Co-op with certain genres is a must. Next gen games without it will be seen as laziness and of last gen. Your setup(s) would be cool for multi player once in a blue moon. There has to be more games that you play with true co-op through out.

Never heard of this logic before. Some developers wait years before they move on to the next gen. They want to rush the franchise now(chip away at COD for hearts and minds), before they fade away against COD Next Gen.

It's not hard to guess major anticipated AAA blockbusters, which many have huge fanbases. Games so big, fans of other consoles know what's coming. Funny I can't think of anything coming for other consoles off the "top of my head" must be some overhyped fluff no one cares about.

Next E3 this xbox list will be new(a different list just as long yet over looked). Your list uses games 3 or 4 times over in some cases. You will come with your lists made up with games announced 3 or 4 years ago or games that are not even promised to come out next year.

Not surprised Devs are preparing for Next Gen though. Devs have to make epic appearances on new hardware which takes time, money and sweat. Only god knows what will have to go into a new Halo on a new Xbox with all its next gen features and capabilities.

What the heck are you talking about? What does Sony and Nintendo passing up similar tech that was primitive at the time, have to do with Kinect's success and hate of today? Nintendo being forced to release a new console and Sony in 3rd place and you talk about what they passed up? They don't need people reminding them of their costly mistake lol(not that hardware and their software was anywhere near as advanced as it needed to be to compare)

Works great in most cases. The tech is ahead of its time. It will get better. Doesn't work so good for PS3 fanboys. Dance Central and Kinect sports are colt classics already. My family loves these games and are among our favorites of any game on any console. I love using kinect for non gaming as well. Most kinect hate comes from PS MOVE failure and kinect's console pushing ability.
Do you have a xbox? Is there a reason you wasted your time in here after reading the disappointing news?(In your opinion) I'm guessing you came in here to attack the game before you knew the details because you read 'Xbox and NASA' and Kinect was the excuse to troll.
