No as a parent I can tell you when a kid is asking for something it's like get me an Xbox1 I want a box1 get me an Xbox1 and you just get it for them. Same goes for the ps4. children ask for what they want they will not ask for a next gen system they will say I want the new ps4 or new Xbox1 and parents will get that. If the parents you guys where talking about walk into best buy " my kid wants 1 of the new consoles which 1 is cheapest?"

which is the problem most of/ if not all the people watching nintendo direct are already nintendo fans. they need to market the system better and the games for it and not just on nintendo direct.
these are opinions there are no facts when it comes to the best game line up. if your a sony fan like me than the sony line up looks better. and i know that sony will pump out exclusives through out the life of the console.
if your an xbox fan than the xb1 line up looks better. the only major difference i see is that sony has yet to show a bunch of their games and ms has shown most of theirs. its your opinion it cant be right are wrong no matter what anybody says.

not really sure how 3 operating systems are better considering they take up like 3 gb of the ram.
most people have stated they would rather not have the kinect pre packed in a pay less. multitasking is a good feature but is there anybody going man i need multitasking in my gaming console.

but they do get some of every blu-ray sold so he has a point, may not be accurate on the numbers but i am sure sony is happy to have more people buying blu-rays. of course this is assuming people that are buying the xb1 dont already have blu-ray players. which they most likely do. so his speculation could be very pointless

they did have story that said ps4 was gonna dominate and than had one that said xb1 was gonna dominate. so they really have covered all bases. I doubt ms or sony paid cnn to do the stories they where just trying to give equal billing to both.
dont know why anybody would take them seriously since they ran stories about how the ps4 will dominate and then ran the same story about how the xb1 will dominate. you cant have it both ways

at all of the local game stores in my area the launch day systems for both are sold out. if you go to best buy or game stop around here they will take your preorder deposit if you want to give it to them but they also tell you that you will not get one of the first shipments. in the case of the game stop by my house you wont get the first of second shipments they are all spoken for. and thats ps4 and xb1
making a system BC adds to the price of development so if they where to add that in the price would go up.
think the first ps3 was BC and thats the first thing they got ride of to lower the price of development so they could lower the price of the system.

since neither company has confirmed a release date you never know who will launch first but i doubt if you really want ps4 it coming out after xb1 by a week or 2 is going to matter. same goes for the xbox fans they arent gonna go out and by a ps4 just because it is out first. basically all the first and second shipments of the ps4 are spoken for so no bodies just gonna go and grab 1

This is the kinda stuff people have to complain about the DS4 seems insignificant to me.
It is not like I am giving up my ps3 when I get a ps4. I know there will be games coming out for awhile on ps3 and I can get them to ad well as next gen games.
For instance splinter cell, beyond, kzsf, watch dogs ps4 version, BF4 ps4 version and possible gta 5 are the games I am picking up for sure this holiday season. Maybe knack as well.
