Since there are no preorder numbers from either camp and both are sold out all these articles are speculation. However from what I have heard there will be more ps4s available but that is just a matter of manufacturing and doesn't really speak to demand. It is possible that Xbox1 is in just as high demand as ps4 but will not have the systems out there to sell. That is why IMO the ps4 will have the bigger launch.

Yeah I am a dad and after that I looked right at my brother who was watching me play and said anything this guy does after this is justified. It is my opinion that when a game draws you in and keeps you at a high level of emotional involvement then it has done everything right.
Ok I have a tv with cable, which I use to watch tv. Odd idea I know, pressing the 1 button I have to, to switch from games to tv is not a big deal. I want my gaming console for playing games.
However both 360 and ps3 already do Netflix, Amazon prime, hulu plus. So the Xbox1 and ps4 will also do these things. I think that the tv features are largely over played because
A) most people watch tv using their dvr. Or will just watch the way they always have like it or not people are...
MS would give all the dev kits they could to indie devs that where willing to let me publish the game and make it exclusively theirs.
I guess ms is hoping 3rd party devs keep supporting it, because they certainly are not.

game looks really good, but it seems like they took the silly, funny stuff out and made the game more serious. This could be a good thing but it could also take away some of the DR charm.

they should only delay the launch if they are aware of problems. it would really be a bad thing to bring it to market if the machine isnt ready to go. but if it is then release it.
I know they dont want to give sony any kind of head start. but the reasons people want them to delay launch is for things that ms isnt going to do annyways like remove kinect. however they might want to delay just a little bit to avoid potential problems with the day 1 update,
the reason is because hardly anybody has one. why take time and money to make something that people dont have. like it or not there are plenty of people who only just now got a hdtv.
but i would guess that much like the film ware update that made the ps3 a 3d bluray player that if the market becomes big enough than a filmware update will be the fix again since i am pretty sure they are both capable of 4k video playback
IMO the third party games will look about the same. Especially early on in the console life cycle, maybe a little better on which ever console is the lead platform. The difference will come in first party games which I believe gives sony the edge if you take into account what devs like ND,suckerpunch, MM, SMS, GG and aquatic dreams Where able to do on ps3 which was hard to develop on. And ps4 more powerful and easier to develop on thAn ps3.

I have no desire to play AC 4. the AC games have gotten boring. IMO. i know people who will buy this and any other AC game they make but to me it has run its course. I have played all of the games they are to easy, the only real challenge is finding everything. and the last 2 games by the time i got most of the way through the game i was like can this just be over now.

People compare it to the 360/ ps3, not ps4/ xb1.
People see 2gb ddr 3 ram, 32gb hd 25gb available and think that's way to low,( even if it's not)
A lot of the games that are coming out the people who already have it have been waiting for since launch, like pikmin 3.
Devs are having a hard time with the second screen, trying to utilize it in a meaningful way.

Sony lets you download for free part a watered down version of drive club and buy the rest if you like it.
MS makes you buy an incomplete game and download the rest of you want to finish the game.
