The ps4 is supposedly easier to develop for, then the ps3.
So this time around it will be easier for devs to use that power.
Look at what devs like ND where able to do with ps3 and that was hard to develop for.

Xbox1 will not sell more than ps4. This gen will play out like the last one only this time sony doesn't have an uphill battle to fight. No head start and less expensive.

And a lot of that press was bad but they say any press is good press. And both systems launch consoles are sold out who knows how many that really is. But I am sure both companies are more interested in what happens the first year, the entire life cycle. While the 500$ price tag or 100$ price difference won't matter to some people it will matter to other people. The system selling out is not an indication ( even for ps4) of how many they sold. Also as mentioned numerous times pre orders are not sales people could cancel. And if a small % of 360 owners let's say 5% decide the 100$ is a reason not to buy xb1 and opt for ps4 than ms losses around 4 million and sony gains around 4 million.

Sold out means nothing how many sells it what matters. Now idk who has what available at launch, but everyone knew the fans of Xbox and the fans of sony not to mention the scalpers trying to make money where gonna guarantee these systems to sell out. But sales in the long run not just launch day is what matters.
3 people that have no background in the gaming industry, 3 people that will do what the real boss wants without question.
That also means the 3 of them need to work well together, communicate efficiently and hope 1 of them doesn't screw it up.
Also means the people running Xbox don't really care about gamers so much, just look at how they tried selling Xbox1 as a tool for business. And since they will know focus on making the system more accessible and more attractive ...
I am willing to bet if zombie u sells a lot more copies than ubisoft would reconsider making number 2.
And if they do they would likely make it multipat but for wiiu to get over 10 million consoles sold they need to sell about 7 million more systems, at the current rate of 25,000 a month that will take 280 months or 23 years. So they better hope the sales increase drastically

First selling less than 500,000 when the game was also sold in bundles is not a lot.
Second developing a new ip on new hardware there where bound to be unexpected expenses.
Third the game devs do not get 100% of the game sales no company selling anything makes100% profit you ever hear of overhead.
Finally I think ubisoft knows whether or not they made any money on the game. And breaking even isn't good enough.

Ps4 will out sell Xbox1 just like ps3 out sold 360 and ps2 out sold the Xbox. But the launch belongs to who ever can put the most systems on the shelves.
Unfortunately those price cuts have come to the states, because I would totally go buy a wiiu if they dropped the price 100$.
They disagree because anything and everything bad ms does or is perceived of doing is some how the fault of sony fans.
First I am a sony fan have never will never sign anything that has to do with drm reversal.

You see the problem with this article, they predict the Xbox1 will sell the most yet the numbers they give about people what the people want and have preordered say ps4 is ahead.
I could see the Xbox1 selling more than ps4 in the U.k because just like in the states they have a big fan base.
But I have said many times both are gonna sell out the company who puts the most on the shelves will be the winner. And nobody knows what those numbers are yet.

And they have pretty much already dropped support for the 360. Since all their studios have been working on Xbox1 games for awhile letting only 3rd party devs support the 360
