You can't have an article like this without including Gears of War and Mass Effect. It was the 1st game that made everyone setup and take note of what this gen could provide interns of gameplay and visual. The games success also spawned a lot of 3rd person cover games.
Mass Effect should also be there. Before that game, we had little to no console experiences that had that level of player dialogue and also the ability to import saves which had an impact on the sequel.

No game actually fell of my radar. There were few games pre E3 I was looking forward to.Nice podcast.
It is open world while retaining the graphial fidelity of Forza 4, so it is expected that the framerate will deep. As long as it is a constant 30fps (judging from the E3 demo, it certainly is), then it is not a problem.
I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this game since it won Dream build play in 2009. The game is completely hand drawn and it really makes it one of the most gorgeous downloadable titles i have seen.
With Crimson dragon, Deadlight, Hybrid and Dust: an elysian tail all coming out in the coming months is the reason why i love XBLA.
Forza Horizon is my most anticipated game this year so i am getting it on release. I might purchase a Vita later on theis year and if i do, Little big planet karting will be a must buy.
I don't think I have ever played any game as much as I played PGR3. Happened to be my best in the series an I was pretty damn good at it. Just got Forza 4 a few days ago and it is simply epic. Presentation is the best I have ever seen in a game and handling is sublime.
You guys are right. Seems Horizon will be pulling the best from both games and adding a few things as well. Easily my most anticipated game of the year.

I am a car crazy and Forza Horizon is my most anticipated game of the year. I love the festival feel of the game. I regards to e Forza community, just go to the forums and you will see that they feel the same way. Our biggest fear was that the physics engine will be Arcady but hearing that it is left alone and only tuned to handle different driving surfaces.

My most anticipated game of the year.
This is the 1st E3 after the launh of the Vita, i was expecting a lot of announements and info in regards to the future of the handheld because i am looking into getting one sometime this year. So what on earth happened? I was expecting Sony to showcase some unique to Vita games and experiences but nothing shown.

Taught of a class based multiplayer mode for Gears has never occurred to me but this OverRun mode looks fantastic and a lot of fun. Another Gears game that I just have to buy day 1.
Gears of war has now sold 18.5 million copies over 3 games. Well deserved sales for an amazing franchise.

The first time i played the game and saw the Mass Relays getting destroyed, the thing that came to my mind was how on earth were they going to get home?
Earth can't handle 7 billion people very well, how is it going to handle the population of the entire galaxy? Quarians, Asaries, Krograns etc can not breath on earth and Quarians can't eat out food.
