What you say is the truth. I expect the PS4 to be max $300 when it releases and that will be with Sony making a profit on every unit sold unlike the PS, PS2 and PS3 which lost money on hardware initially due to being more expensive to manufacture that their RRP.
The question now is, how much of a leap over the PS3 will the PS4 be if they will aim for that price point with initial profit in mind?

I am also Guilty. I spend alot of time on youtube and no longer use iplayer on my PC but on my XBOX. I have spent way more time watching video on my xbox this year than gaming.

I dont have a Wii or 3DS and i have nothing against it at all. The success is good for the game industry so i am happy it exists and sells well. Why people on this site go on to hate rival platforms is beyond me.

Actually, Forza is King is correct. After playing the demo twice with and without Kinect. Playing with Kinect is way more immersive.
Just finished the Demo. Mass Effect 3 is indeed better with Kinect. Voice commands for allies moves and moves that are not mapped to a button just makes the comabt sequences flow much better.
Truth is, alot of studios from the 90,s are kind of Dead. Rare, SEGA, Capcom, Square, THQ, Eidos etc all used to make fantastic games and all have a massive backcatalogue of fantastic IP,s that they can revisit. Unfortunately, their games just dont seem to be very good these days.

I agree. I have this feeling that Microsoft will launch their next console november 2012. Microsoft have always launched products during the fall Xbox, WIndows 7, Windows phone 7 and Kinect. Even their biggest games all get fall release windows.
People should not also forget that the 360 was unveiled a few days before E3 2005 and launched world wide fall that year.
Game - Game marketplac - Game type and Indi games is there in BOLD along with Arcade, Games on Demand and Xbox originals. If you want to get there 10 times faster, simply say "Xbox bing indi games" and kinect will take you straight there that is if u have kinect. Where else do they want indi games to be? Should your Xbox boot up straight to the indi games section?
