Might be too little? It is too little. There's literally nothing they can do at this point to surpass the PS4 on any level. The hardware is set in stone. Clock Speeds will not get any significant changes to make a difference. There's a thermal budget that has to be respected unless you want RROD 2.0.
I don't see how Sony's failing TV business is relevant to this article let alone this website.
His opinions are irrelevant. HE WORKS FOR MICROSOFT.
IT IS HIS JOB TO POST POSITIVE XBOX NEWS.
No one said anyone is lying about the features, but knowing Microsoft you never know. They have a horrible track record lately.
Your opinion is irrelevant. As a paid PR Xbox employee, you can't expect anyone to take your word for it. You are paid to hype up every bit of news and spin everything.
Give an Xbox One to a lucky Xbox Live member and have him write a series of blog posts about it leading up to launch. This is how you do PR. People will listen to a true gamers opinions.
Are they trying to improve their machine? Of course. Why? Because of the PS4.
Quantity isn't Microsoft problem here, its quality.(or in this case speed)
Why so many disagrees? You are spot on.
The fact that such a small increase in power is really the only good press they've gotten lately is very alarming. They'll take what they can get I guess.
Anyway this IS good news. Every little bit helps and in a closed-platform 53MhZ is probably more significant than it would be on a PC.
It's not like the engine is limited to the PS3s capabilities. I'm sure it'll scale to PS4 and it won't even feel like the same engine.
Fanboys. Who knows how they think.
I don't have faith in a Capcom game. Sorry I just don't.
1. Really? Are you sure about this? This means the PS4 has a headstart on production and maybe even release?
2. Sounds boring. Hopefully we get some new announcement or game footage.
3. I don't think even Microsoft knows what their message or position is. The name of the console itself is very misleading. It's not actually "All-In-One".
4. Exactly.
A few months ago there were headlines that read "Microsoft will not reverse its policies in reaction to PS4"
Look where we are know. Microsoft is notorious for their "180s" now. You can't trust a word they say
Graphics don't matter. Is the game fun?
PS4 is outselling Xbox One is every single country. Even America. This doesn't even include PS4 bundles. Microsoft must be panicking. They dropped the ball. HARD.
Call me crazy. I want both.
I'd rather have Killzone: SF be my first title. It looks way better than all the ones before it.
An FPS outselling a racer and a QTE-heavy Crytek game? DUH!
@BattleTorn
You don't need PS Plus. Free To Play games don't need it to play online.(and there's many) Netflix, Hulu and all other apps don't require Plus either.
You're right you did ask a stupid question.
-$499 for Console
-$59.99 for Xbox Live
Entry price is $559.99 before taxes. With taxes it ends up being $600+. That's PS3 2006 territory. I'm being generous by not including the price of a game here as there is at least 1 free to play game coming at launch with Killer Instinct.
By compete he means "surpass".
Of course Xbox One is competitive.
