The original source still lists a possibility for 12GB though so that is still possibly since they were right about the upclock.

I tried Battlefield. It really isn't my thing. It's not a bad game though. I do see why it is becoming more popular.

Nintendo says in their press release that the website sells unauthorized copies of Nintendo games. That isn't true. They only sell the R4 carts needed for it.......

It's called PR. Most gamers don't know that assets are created in really high resolution then ported down to consoles.
I think if this is good news for COD. It means we'll see a notable different between current and next-gen platforms. This may finally be next-gen COD, at least from a graphical standpoint.
Consoles set the standard for gaming, even on PC. Consoles are the limiting factor. So no matter how much raw power $1000 GPUs have, it doesn't matter. They have to wait for consoles to catch up. Also, most PC gamers game on weak integrated graphics.....

The thing is that the PS3 was more powerful than the 360 and it introduced Blu-Ray tech into gaming. IT WAS WORTH THE PREMIUM.
It wasn't like blu-ray was something people didn't need or want, you do need it as all PS3 games are stored on blu-rays. Look at the movie industry now, Blu-Ray is the standard for HD home movies. Video Games have only gotten bigger and bigger. Look at 360 and how many games now need multiple DVDs.

Camera or no camera. People mostly look at the price tag. Call of Duty is the most popular game out there. That doesn't require Kinect, most people don't want Kinect. It really is that simple.
That still isn't specific enough. Are we talking most popular gaming PC? That would be laptops with integrated graphics. Are we talking high-end gaming rigs? Those would easily be $1000+ depending on how far past 1080p you want to go.
