Why buy a $499 Steambox when you can buy a $400 PS4?
Most PC games don't play that well with a gamepad. True PC gamers will prefer mouse and keyboard anyway.
I'm kinda bummed out I didn't buy any DLC for this game. I'm saving up for the PS4 though so its worth it.
The first link lists the price of 1Gb of GDDR5 in the form of 32 chips of 32mb....Sony is using 16 512mb chips of GDDR5. I imagine that would be a lot more expensive than what you're seeing here.
I can't believe people actually disagreed with you.
Can you imagine if smartphone manufacturers only allowed you to buy the 64GB model? Could it be beneficial to some users? Of course! But people like having options and sacrificing a storage to get a smartphone this month isn't that big a deal to most.
If MS were to offer the console without Kinect, more people would buy it due to the lower price. If Kinect interests them they would buy the too eventu...
Obviously Microsoft has no freakin' idea what they're doing. It's like they were caught off guard by the PS4 reveal and have been improvising ever since.
The console doesn't even use that much power, why the need for such a large brick? Man these MS engineers must have gotten their degree online or something.
PS3 had an internal power supply and it didn't overheat. PS4 will have an internal power supply and it's more powerful. I'm betting it won't overheat either.
You would think with that huge chassis, they would find a spot for the power supply. I guess MS engineers aren't very talented.
It's an iOS/Android game. It's a cross promotion between Sony and the Coca Cola company....of course its got Coca Cola plastered all over it.
It's just like that Mountain Dew Halo game that came out last year on iOS.
Not really. It's not like Sony is putting an Uncharted game on mobile. These are just simple mini-games designed to promote the Playstation brand and characters....
No one is going to play these mini games and say "why would I buy Uncharted 4 when I can play this Uncharted mini game on my phone"
Be realistic man.
Nope. Move isn't supposed to be added as that is completely optional. PS4 Camera doesn't need Move to function. Games like Just Dance 5 won't require Move at all.
Another reason is that as of right now there is NO PS4 TITLE ANNOUNCED THAT SUPPORTS PS MOVE.
EDIT: TO THOSE ASKING, I ADDED THE PS4 CAMERA ABOVE BECAUSE I'M TRYING TO TO A FAIR COMPARISON AND ACHIEVE FEATURE PARITY. I KNOW MOST DON'T WANT THE CAMERA.
It's M$. It is expected.
There is a reason most of their consumer products are a failure. They got lucky with Xbox and now it looks like they're even messing that up.
You don't but it is a nice extra to have. Look at your friends list and I bet half of them are watching Netflix at some point.
We really need next-gen consoles to arrive....NOW. Retail is getting killed.
Not gonna happen. There's one thing that Xbox won't "180" on and that's Xbox Live features.
I'll leave this here just for the chuckles:
PS4
-Free automatic recording of last 15 minutes of gameplay.
Xbox One
-Paid manual recording of only 5 minutes of gameplay.
What are you talking about? Of course you can disconnect the Kinect sensor but that console won't work without it connected. THAT IS THE PROBLEM.
Also, the whole point of the console is to be always on(in some sort of sleep state). So hitting that power button won't shut it off, it'll put it to sleep. You'll have to disconnected the power cable to fully shut it down.
Glad to see they are including the headset now. Who knows what they were thinking before.(maybe profiting off overpriced headset sales?)
Anyway this is another 180 and one gamers will no doubt benefit from. Time to revise the console feature parity comparison chart.
Xbox One
-Console w/ Kinect + Headset = $500
-Xbox Live = $60
-Game = $60
-Play N' Charge Kit = $25
TOTAL = $645 w/ no tax.
PS4

Your name is very ironic.

Us, the Gamers.
Would you rather get a game that everyone is playing and talking about or a game that none of your friends have or even heard about?
Naturally, you would want your favorite game to sell well and if you hear the game sold horribly, you would want to know why and maybe read some not so pleasant reviews about it.
This is why I'm a big fan of game demos. There's nothing better than trying a game out yourself. This is truly the only way to ignore the negat...
