A simple avatar or something would be nice. It's a non-issue though. Just having the console itself is its own reward!

Glad to hear no PS4 unboxing video. I'd be tempted to watch it.

Who gave Microsoft the idea that an Xbox One unboxing video 3 months in advance was a good idea? LOL.

Of course it won't be a failure. But it will most certainly lose marketshare this coming gen. Look at the pre-order data on any website or tracking agency and you'll see that gamers have chosen the PS4.

Gamers voted with their wallets and Microsoft had no choice but to listen to them. Over the past few months these have been the major issues with Xbox One:

1. DRM
2. No headset included in box
3. Little to no indie support
4. Ki...

You're right, people are nit-picking but all these little issues add up into one big unappealing product. Literally. Microsoft has seriously messed up the Xbox reveal and its subsequent promotion. If it wasn't for our nitpicking we would still have a console with DRM, required internet connection, no headset and God knows what else.

-Why isn't Killzone or Drive Club or Knack good enough for you? We haven't even seen enough of these games to dismiss them yet. At the very least wait for reviews. Killzone in particular seems to be a very fresh take on the franchise. I never got into the previous Killzone games, this new PS4 one excites me.

-The best games are multiplatform. There's nothing wrong with letting them lead the charge.

-Your crossing into fanboy territory here. Forza ...

Thank You.
It's ridiculous that Microsoft is so out of touch with its consumers.

Bundled headset should have been a no brainer.
No DRM should have been a no brainer.
Indie support should have been a no brainer.
No more ancient battery technology should have been a no brainer.

It's like Microsoft is only changing stuff once it becomes a huge issue online.

It's a little late for Microsoft to redesign the controller. Why they stuck with batteries is beyond me. I guess they love to sell you those Play and Charge kits. Pure profit.

Opinions. Everyone has one. Deal with it.

Whats with Microsoft and its huge everything?
Huge console, huge power brick, huge kinect, huge headset connector.

Ignoring size though, the headset seems to be comfortable and those quick access buttons seem convenient.

Well good thing the hard drive is replaceable! Oh wait.....

It is clear that Microsoft isn't entirely deaf. They have done some changes over the past few months. They're moving too slowly though. They should have started giving out free games over Xbox Live Gold years ago. Hell, they're supposed to be the leaders of online console gaming. It's clear there they are falling behind in some areas.

It works both ways. Playstation isn't just promoting Coke, Coke is promoting Playstation.

This are a few mini-games. Vita owners are missing nothing.

I miss Digimon :(

"Go ahead and charge me for online multiplayer gameplay, Microsoft. That's a distinctive feature that only you can provide. It's worth it."

Huh? I was agreeing with everything up until this point. Multiplayer isn't a distinctive feature on Xbox. It's a basic feature on PC and free on PS3 and Wii/Wii U. Charging for it is fine since it reduces downtime and maintenance, but saying its something only MS can provide? Not true.

4703d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

You should have pre-ordered it months ago. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!? You don't get charged until it ships so there's no excuse.

4703d ago 39 agree1 disagreeView comment

Xbox One doesn't support bluetooth technology.

Anyway this costs no more than $5 for MS to manufacture. Probably less. These things are sold at huge profits.

4703d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Dude, those are basically console games. I was referring to PC games such as MMOs which are the most popular on the platform.

4703d ago 0 agree9 disagreeView comment

Fair enough but a Steambox isn't needed for that if you already have a gaming PC. You'll be paying a premium for weaker hardware. What will be more powerful, a $500 Steambox or a $500 Desktop PC?

You have to take into account that a Steambox would not be a good alternative to consoles. A Steambox is a PC in a small form factor. It won't be optimized like console games will.

I never said gamepads don't work well. I said many PC games don't ...

I think what's he's saying is leave the sales concerns to the publishers.
