"I just don't trust American electronics." I agree in general, but a Mac Mini is a beautiful little box. Don't have anything else from Apple, but I'm under the impression that they are an exception to the rule. I used to work with Sun servers, I liked those a lot, too. Not a consumer electronics, though...
Yeah, D4RkNIKON
PS3 Kicks Off the Holiday Season with a Boom! Not a Bang.
I'd add Warhawk and Shatter. And agreed with Super Stardust HD being on the list. It took over Xevious as my favourite arcade style game.
sales != momentum
It may look like game developers are losing money when people share, but as Darkfocus said, it's not different than lending your physical copy. On the positive side for developers, you cannot sell your PSN copy.
They had to make up something, because they couldn't criticize graphics, story or gameplay. And I agree there are quite a few new things: time puzzles, female enemies, "co-op" with Azimuth or Mr. Zurkon, zonies and those red critters that try to run away, new puzzles, more involvement of hover-boots, new arenas, new weapons and gadgets... Even after spending 17-18 hours mostly on hover-boots I'm still playing it.
They are bunch of 360 fangirls getting PS3 related name for their web site and commenting themselves.
"Insomniac have a gift – the ability to forge games of such a high quality – and to ask them to stop would be a crime against gaming humanity."
As long as they keep doing so, I'll keep buying R&C. Hopefully, this is not really the last one.

More like ... streets in Legoland.
No. You got it all wrong. The author is actually worried that Sony might loose money with this. Just look what he writes: "Can Sony do it? I would love to see it happen." Aaww... that's so sweet :)

It's kinda slow, but I find the speed quite acceptable. I love full screen view and browsing with Dualshock. The only problem I have is not keeping login information on N4G in more than one web page and I noticed gizmag.com prompts me to join on every new page, so I guess there is a problem in accessing cookie directory. Also, PS3 home page has lately been 1/4 normal size. I'd stay with NetFront if they fix those issues.
On my PC, Google Chrome is noticeably the fastest browser, and it ...
I don't know why people keep saying there is nothing new, but time manipulation puzzles are new and quite challenging and rewarding, and playing with general Azimuth feels a bit like co-op. I think it's new to the series. And spherical moons are back!
I share the same experience: if I ever wanted to adjust anything it was Resistance 2 that I found a bit too dark. All of my other 25+ PS3 games look just fine. I never even had to adjust the TV (Bravia XBR, 3-4 yrs old). The only washed out game I played on PS3 is Shadow of the Colossus in progressive scan mode. It looks much better in the other mode.
Some reviewers are not affected by early 7s from Edge and Eurogamer, which have not only lowered its aggregated score, but may have been done early to influence reviews to follow.
"The Great Clock is also shown as an eccentric character itself being placed in the centre of the universe" Give or take 50 feet :)
Great review! I've been seeing many reviews repeating what one of the earlier reviews by Edge and Eurogamer said that new R&C doesn't bring anything new to the gameplay. I find time recording so refreshing and I'm glad that you mentioned it as "really original". I was tempted to skip those puzzles since there is an option to d...

Mr. Zurkon does NOT come in peace.
This game is lots of fun :)
... but why does it state: "It doesn't break any new ground"? Clank manipulating time and replicating himself at the same time: isn't that new? I know there are games where you can just undo events, but this is kind of manipulating time in parallel. Has something like that been done before?
"Is there a little of The Incredibles about the bumbling, oversized Captain Qwark? Or is he a clone of Futurama's Zapp Brannigan?"
Is the dad from The Incredibles a clone of Futurama's Zapp Brannigan?
