I was a gamer in the 90s..... multiplatform was FAR less common then. It happened, but it was way more rare. 16 bit era you would see "multiplatform" games there were very different games. Like shadowrun.
I don't really mind the price increase on its own. What gets me is that they will keep getting more aggressive with microtransactions ON TOP of the $10 price hike. Ill pay $70 for a complete game, but we keep seeing broken, content incomplete products being shipped at full price. How long did it take for FFxv take to be a complete experience, and how much extra did it cost to get that experience. Its skeezy.
Bethesda started that loooong before Microsoft came around. If anything MS may whip them into shape.
Who knows, maybe MS will be able to get bethesda games studios to stop releasing broken, homogeneous trash. We can ge a Doom/Halo crossover where Corso kills alien demons demons in a digital mindscape from an isometric view..... I think I got it all in there. Let me know below! Smash like and subscribe. Play Raid:shadow legends.
Got a 2080. Ill rock it 1080p maxed for a bit till I can afford to upgrade.
If it happened, the results could go either way. Look at wasteland 3. Microsoft bought nXile, then threw money at the game to make it the best it could be even though it was being published by a different company. Now, im sure Microsoft is make some money off of that investment, but they could have just let it go as is and then hopped on board once nXile was fully under their control. I could be wrong, but I think Microsoft learned a lot of valuable lessons from this current console cycle. Of...
It was said explicitly that the MP component is being treated as a separate project. The main focus of the game will be single player with no microtransactions, and plenty of DLC. Multi-player will contain cosmetic microtransactions with no gameplay advantage. If the witcher 3 is anything to go by, there will plenty of free SP dlc in addition to substantial expansion content sold later on. This company is the single most consumer friendly day publisher/developer/storefront in the AAA space. O...
Epic violated ToS. Pretty simple really. They had that video ready to go already. They knew what they were doing.
I might have read the article, but the popup ads cover content, so.....
I've heard people say its hate symbol, but have never actually seen it used outside of the tinfoil hat documentaries about Jay z and beyonce being illuminati
Bunch of entitled idiots. The internet is anonymous, and anonymity makes people feel like they have the right to be asshats. Video games have been one of my primary hobbies since the early 90s when I was but a wee lad. Needless to say it has been a major part of my life for a long, long time. Never have I taken it as a personal insult when a game isnt what I wanted. Never have I felt the need to threaten anyone over a game they made. It's time for the man-children to grow up. Move on with...
Oh come on. Game looks sweet, but definitely screw this attitude I keep seeing about it being bigotry or some nefarious scheme to bring the game down if people dont fall all over themselves to suck naughty dog off over it. Also, fuck the attitude that the game is pushing it's own nefarious plot with the LGBTQ content. Outrage culture is cancer. Like it or dont, and move on with your life.
Someone didnt like the game. Happens. Everyone can have their opinions. Looks good to me. Looking forward to playing it. I have no issues with the LGBTQ stuff, so long as it comes across as genuine. If it seems like virtue signaling then I'll probably not like it. Virtue signaling is just insincere pandering and hurts the cause. Overall, though, I'm excited and some negative or positive reviews aren't going to sway my opinion.
Agreed. Glorifying my bad health is different than being inclusive to race or sexuality.
I would laugh my ass off. And i am an angry straight white guy.
This article has as much substance as FFxv side quests.
Sometimes cool stuff happens on the internet.
I'm confused. MS was saying 60 fps 4k minimum. Maybe they meant first party specifically. If so, they did not make that clear.
I thought something along those lines too, but I gave them the click. It's actually about why they think the game is way underrated, but the title of the article is worded poorly.
Just an opinion here. I think MS is going to jeep publishing the zenimax catalog cross platform. The will use their sub service to move hardware, at a bit of a loss for sure, but still have the heavy hitters they just bought to sell millions and millions of games on what will probably be the larger PS5 community to recoup losses and make huge profits regardless of xbox sales. Seems like they are gearing up for a future where xbox or playstation, maybe both, are services rather than boxes. I c...
